Hobart Community Veterinary Hospital

This is hard for me to do , but if anyone else is wondering what vet to use , Hobart Community has to be number 1 . We recently had to euthanize our little girl . She was 17 and a half . They helped us thru this and went above and beyond . Very caring . Thankyou Dr Aleasha " especially . The card was beautiful and very thoughtful . Carol ."

Excellent service at good rates for pensioners

Very happy with the care taken concerning my two cats. Was kept up to date and informed of all issues and after home care requirements and instructions. Everyone in the practice was friendly and professional.

The experience I had here makes me wonder if these are new veterinarians with no experience or students. This should be disclosed before any appointments and reflected on the price.I honestly don't recommend taking your pet here. They won't give you all the the information you need to make the best decision, and afterwards they add the rest of what they didn't tell you so you are forced to pay more or fox whatever they did wrong. Only when pressed for information (repeatedly) they will give you all the facts.. Not impressed at all.

I have had ok experiences here in the past but my last interaction with them has discouraged me from using them again. My biggest issue that I have is that they are not very forthcoming with information and it takes a lot of questions to understand what you're signing up for. I really don't think that they are better valued than other vets in the area.
