My partner and I did the beginner’s lost wax carving course with Bec and were totally blown away by her generosity and care. The course was the perfect mix of having the freedom to do what interested us, and Bec constantly providing exactly the right amount of guidance, tools and expertise. The small group size, convivial atmosphere (between the participants, I think we solved the world’s problems! Haha) and beautiful location made this course so special. We came away with rings we’re so proud of, and a heap of information about casting in Melbourne, places to buy tools and supplies and Bec’s openness to ongoing advice and mentorship. I’ve done a similar course elsewhere, but Bec really made a difference with her amazing friendliness and help - the opposite of industry gate keeping. Can’t recommend this course enough: treat yourself!

I cannot recommend Pod Jewellery enough! Bec runs a fantastic workshop - everything from the hospitality and guidance, to the pieces I learned to make and get to wear. Post workshop, Bec also provided me with wonderfully detailed notes about everything I needed to know!

I can not rave enough on my 2 day Intensive Beginner's Workshop with Pod Jewellery. I was a true beginner. Bec, the instructor, is so unbelievable!! A true professional who is extremely knowledgeable & passionate. She was patient & helpful.Due to my absence of silver work skills, at the start of day 1, I never expected to create several  beautiful pieces by the end of day 2.Yet, I did!This workshop is worth the price. I had one of the best weekends. I want to attend again! I am ecstatic with the quality rings, earrings and pendant I went home with.Included, Bec organizes lunch at restaurants in Kyneton. For her and her students on both days. It's lovely having a meal and chats with Bec and your fellow students.I loved using the many tools and learning how silver jewellery is made with them! You can also buy these tools at a student discount given by Pod Jewellery.I can't imagine this course being as enjoyable without Bec as the instructor.

I highly recommend the Intensive Beginners Jewellery Short Course. This is a jam packed course where you will learn multiple skills in jewellery making. Bec is an amazing teacher that explains the process, provides a demonstration and then allows you to create your own pieces during the course. All materials and tools are supplied, and you even get to take your creations home! I have left the course with so much information and confidence, to be able to start making jewellery on my own. Having the course over two days was really convenient as I was travelling interstate to attend the course.I also did the stone setting course the following day, which was a great addition to the skills I had learned in the previous days course.

I am so happy with the wedding band my partner created for me, through a workshop at Pod Jewellery. It is perfect and fits the unusual shape of my engagement ring beautifully. I am amazed at what he was able to create with no prior experience and not usually being one for delicate/fiddly work. It's really special having something he created to wear. Bec did a great job guiding us through the process, working with a tight deadline (we left it a bit late!) and making sure we got our rings - we ordered my partners band through Bec as well - in time for the wedding.

I had a great time doing the 2 part lost wax workshop with Bec. She is a fantastic teacher and the workshop really sparked my interest in making jewellery. The studio is well equipped, with stunning views and thoughtful snacks. Bec is happy to share her knowledge and continues to support me when I have questions. Thanks so much Bec!

Bec is an incredibly welcoming, thoughtful, knowledgeable teacher. I had such a great time creating my own silver ring in the Lost Wax Ring Making workshop with Bec recently. I can't wait to do the rest of her workshops.

April 2022 - beginners course A great one for anyone with zero experience. My husband reluctantly attended & loved it. Small group size allows alot of personalised guidance. Bec is very generous with sharing her knowledge. We drove 8 hrs to attend what proved to be an exceptional course. We will be back to attend other courses. Highly recommend this course.
