The service was welcoming and friendly. A really nice regional pub around. Good food, good service and good vibes.

It was a great place, quite and the service was excellent, recommend it to everyone.

Out and about exploring the area and came across this little pub. Owners only been there 12months and in the process of refreshing it. What a nice surprise. Small menu but enough to choose from for a tasty, reasonably priced menu. Will definitely be back. Especially for a Sunday roast. Marg & Dave.

Wish I'd read previous reviews. 5 of us ordered 3 parmas and 2 Kiev. All raw in the middle except one. Cook offered 'to neuk them in the microwave'. Offer declined and still charged full price and told that's the way it is. So told that has never happened in 20 years! But if you read the past reviews it has. Save yourself salmonella and go anywhere else.

Maybe not the best place to go for a Friday lunch..Parmas were out quick, that's because they weren't cooked properly.. pink in the middle, with a spoon of tomato paste & half melted cheese..Salad was a few cut up bits of dirty lettuce 1 cherry tomato cut in half & a squirt of mayo. Small amount of chips that i was worried were from previous customs leftovers...If you're tempted go to the cafe..

This pub is the worst experience I’ve ever had. The publican told us upon arrival that he was “pissed”, and then proceeded to get all of our orders wrong. He confessed to the whole table that he was afraid of his wife and didn’t want to go into the kitchen. When we requested the gravy we paid for, I was met with a stern no… that’s it. The beer was hydrating, mostly because it was 90% water!! And the publican was creepy and rude. The only reason they get a 1 star is because we liked the music.Additionally, the steak sanga was literally a rissole with cheese on it!! You’re kidding me mate…

We were looking for somewhere to eat outside with our dog and stumbled across the Commerial Hotel. Had a lovely meal and Peter the publican prepared a meal for our dog. What a lovely man

Avoid at ALL costs!!! Especially if you’re a young female!We made the mistake of stopping by and will never ever go in there again and heard some horror stories from the locals about the owners behaviour!**it is soo bad I want to give you a 0, but that’s not possible, so I give you a 1**
