Would give 0 if I could. There are limited exotic vets around Sydney and surrounding suburbs and I’ve come to them with my exotic animal due to a medical emergency only to be turned away because they are “only accepting wildlife”. Change the name if you aren’t taking exotic animals!!! To turn away an animal when it needs immediate attention and you can see the distress on my face is absolutely disgusting service. Change the bloody name and thank you very much for causing this exotic animal owner even MORE distress because my animal still needs medical attention only to be turned away by every exotic vet INCLUDING this one. I’m disgusted.

High quality careVery knowledgeable in rabbit careStaff will ensure you are educated about your rabbits care and optionsCost of care is fairly high but doesn't seem as high as the North Shore hospitalDoctors were friendly, nursing staff exceptionally caring and accommodating. Sorry, but I found the receptionist not overly accommodating and somewhat blunt (on more than one occasion). Not rude but as the front face of an organisation, could do better

Dr Hamish , Dr Bree and now Dr Lorenzo from the first interaction with our 4 Lorikeets were unbelievable. Very knowledgeable and looked after our little guys. Max, Skittles, Kenzi and Rex love going there for their check ups. Can't fault anything, very professional and we recommend for everyone. There is always plenty of parking in the car park when we have gone here. The place is clean and looks great.

Unfortunately I have not been able to visit the vets, my experience is based on the lack of customer service.I moved into the area around 10 months ago and discovering an avian vet close by was such a pleasant surprise as they are not very common.About 3 months ago, one of my cockatiels was sick so I wanted to take her down to be checked. I tried from 9am and made multiple attempts to call throughout the day - there was never an answer. The phone did not ring just went straight to a message saying the phone is not answered. Weird, I thought, but given it was the middle of the Covid crisis procedures may have changed. I left 2 messages and was never contacted back. Disappointed. This week, another of my cockatiels had been attacked by her mate out of the blue and had quite a nasty head wound, we cleaned her and looked after her and waited until the next day when the vets opened to get in touch I managed to get through at 9am and was told to call between 2.30-3 as they would likely have a cancellation and would let me know if I could bring her down. Well I called at 2.30 on the dot, then a few more times until 4 with the same result as the first time I tried to get in touch - no answer and an automated response saying the phones are not answered. Won't bother trying again.Very disappointed in the lack of service and response during what were both serious times for our birds. It is such a shame given this a vet is offering such a unique and rare service in avian care.

A lot of other vets in the greater area don’t specialise in Rabbits so make the trip here. They love animals and have great knowledge and care, and will always have a chat about how your pet is doing overall. It’s a bit out of the way for some, but if you have an “interesting” species of animal they’d likely have a vet that knows it.

UPDATE: we have realised since GOOGLING symptoms that this lorrikeet always had the yeast infection and was probably the cause of sneezing when brought in to the vet. The odd smell it had before coming in was a part of the yeast infection. The vet didn't bother to do ANY testing, said it's probably fine, but gave antibiotics anyway. Which made the yeast infection worse. This negligence caused death in ONE week.Prescribed bird antibiotics causing yeast infection and death in one week. They neglected to tell us that this was a common enough thing, and that this breed is even more susceptible to it. They gave no signs to look out for, and showed no need for any kind of follow up. Another precious bird lost. How many til everyone treats birds as fragile as they are??

Its extremely frustrating the lack of appointments for urgent matters, we can not decide when our animals are sick and they often need attention quickly and not by the local vet someone who specializes - the often lack of empathy (when more then willing to and ALREADY paying top dollar) or willingness to work with is rarely seen on the booking / administration side. The vets are wonderful and never shown anything but respect to the vets, they must have it hard. The management of the place needs to improve drastically.

Great staff. We mainly dealt with Dr Janet who is very friendly & cheerful. We thought we may lose our female Eclectus parrot “Bella” due to veryconcerning health issues regarding Renal & Liver dysfunction, As well asproblems with her Digestive System as a result of a very poor start in life. Thanks to all the staff who took great care of her whilst she was in for 11 days Including intensive care. Now the future is looking Good! They also take care of our Bunnies as well.Highly regarded & recommended Pet Hospital
