Awesome atmosphere! Had a few cocktails on the deck watching the big screen. Kat and Shanay did everything to make our experience a good one! Awesome service!

Every time we come to Hervey Bay from Melbourne to stay at K'gari, we go to town for supplies and drop into Bay Central Tavern for a drink and a feed. We sit outside on the deck in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. Its really a great place to chill and the sun never fails to shine.For lunch my partner ordered the salmon and roast potatoes while I decided to have the homemade pie, pees and mash. The servings were generous and very delicious. Enough to make you lick your fingers. If you have a sweet tooth you are going to love their offerings. I could not decide between the pavlova and cheesecake but in the end the pav won!I also noticed that they had a great choice and selection of food for seniors at a low cost. That's excellent.What was also surprising was the low cost of drinks. I could not believe I got a pint of larger and a gin and tonic for just a little over $20.The location of this place is perfect, being next to the main shopping complex in the center of town. So you can shop till you drop then go relax at the tavern. That's what we did.The staff are friendly and the service is great.Thanks Paul, you and your team are the best. Keep up the good work and see you next time we are in town :)

Surprisingly good. Ordered a rump and the barra. Both came quickly and the steak was cooked really well. Staff polite and friendly and premises clean. Service was quick. Will definitely eat here again!!

Great atmosphere throughout the whole pub, special thanks to Venue Manager Paul for making us feel welcome. No drink too complicated to make, he went above and beyond ensuring we were having a great time. Food, service and staff 10/10!

A big group of us mothers and children were at the Tavern last night for a joint birthday celebration. I just wanted to thank the staff and give you some feedback on the absolute fantastic level of service and food we experienced. Jal and fellow staff couldn’t have been more accommodating and helpful.

Great atmosphere, great food and minimal wait times despite being flat out - Tim brought our food out and he was awesome! Highly recommend! Will definitely be back my next visit to Hervey Bay!

Great experience and service!! Anna and Kat were so accommodating and friendly, so was the older gentleman serving in the bistro, I didn’t catch his name. The meals were delicious and big servings. Drinks came out quickly. A really enjoyable lunch with friends. Thank you.
