Took the tribe along to Nasty’s so we could sample Pinche Cantina’s finest. Ioreth Tudor and his brilliant crew didn’t disappoint. We tucked into the beef birra tacos, the pork bad boys, lamb for good measure, and we didn’t neglect the veg option either. The lamb tacos were the crowd favourite wit their smokey flavour and melts in mouth texture. For the adults the veg tacos (grilled Oaxacan-style cheese with zucchini) came out on top. There’s little doubt this is Melbourne’s best taco bar and you’ll kick yourself if you walk past without making a pit stop.

We came here for the Pinche pop-up. The tacos were unreal, best vegetarian ones we've had in Melbourne. Highly recommend the Oaxaca cheese ones. The venue itself was great with top staff and delicious drinks.

For some patrons, it is the atmosphere, for others it is the service, or the drinks, company, or the crew. For some customers like myself, I want all of these in my checklist and it is not often that you get all of these factors in one venue! This is why Nasty’s in Thornbury is tops and highly recommend it to everyone.The Yakitori, Tori no Karaage and Nasu no Karaage were perfect dishes with my drink.Also, be prepared to be greeted by their top security — Arrow! He’s all muscles and has a big smile. The place is pooch friendly and we met Tuesday (King Charles Cavalier) last Friday!

Do yourself a favour, get on down to Nasty's. You will not find a better bar in Melbourne. The most amazing staff who always have a smile, a wonderful selection of beers on tap and other drinks to mix all come together under the amazing vibe they have. If you're ever stuck for options when looking for a place to drink in Thornbury, Nasty's is the obvious choice!
