Sunny Meats

Meat has green spots and spoiled. I was going through the comments, i feel that this place only deserves one star.The owner is not taking his part and blaming the customer reviews who’s giving him one star for his poor quality and service.

There is another butcher shop very nearby, so perhaps some reviewers here have a case of mistaken identity . I haven't ever shopped at the other, older butcher shop. Sunny Meats, which is the halal one, have given great service, and willingness to cut steaks to my preference. This shop looks and smells very clean, and I have never seen any insects whatsoever. The two men who have served me were polite and friendly. Their meats are well priced and I would recommend this butcher shop.

I’m a regular staff member since day one and it has been few months and few times, I’m receiving the wrong meat from them. I’m asking for lam leg and they are showing me the same meat but when they go inside to make piece for me they will bring me a curry meat, I used to not say anything because we have Wahed customer service but this time I have enough of their bully. Last time when I mentioned to them that they gave me wrong meat they said, won’t happen again but they keep repeat it. This morning when I asked for a lamb leg and Wahid took the meat inside to make piece but unfortunately there was a another rude guy name was (OMAR) he gave me the wrong meat again. And this time I opened the meat bag right in front of them and instead of apologies he was yelling at me that you are not coming everyday so don’t complain what you got. I said, I’m paying money I don’t take it for free plus I’m coming here because we think it’s a Halal meat and we want to support our own ( Halal) Muslim people we don’t come there to get bully or being rude to customers.All we want is to be treat nicely and be honest with customers. Otherwise you will lose your customers with this kind of customer service that they are doing atm. I don’t know who run this company but management really needs to pay attention for their staffs member behaviours.

Pros: Clean & clear interior. Really like the shop design. Workers aim to please.Cons: Competitive prices - actually more expensive than other local average butchers. Quality is ok... not as fresh as I'd like though since the chicken wings I bought were dry and sour. Quiet store at the end of the shop. Judging by character, I sense a shortage of honesty and a lack of diplomacy for being defensive about the business and the kind of responses back to customers. Won't be visiting soon.

As potential customers walking by your shop, we were impressed by the great presentation but we were put off by the two male staff yelling at each other (LOUDLY). We could still hear them yelling as we entered Woolworths (which is a considerable distance from your shop). Most people want to go about their shopping 'peacefully' and buying a few slabs of meat with that sort of racket is unnecessary. Which is why we didn't stop to buy from you and instead purchased from Woolworths!

Purchased $50 worth of meat 4days ago. Got home and opened up the package, they were off and was GREEN on meat. Absolutely Disgusting. Manager was very Rude and Sarcastic, he refused to refund or replace, instead tried to convince that the meat was not off. Disappointed is an understatement to what I received. Such a waste of money. Worst service ever, don’t recommend anybody else to Sunny meats.

I brought a rump from here and it was honestly that chewy that i gave it to my dogs.

Bought 2kilos of diced lamb, when we reach home we realised to see black spots on red meat. When we returned it to the owner, he tried to convince me saying that it is common thing for any meat and refused to return money or to give new meat. Please don’t spoil your health purchasing from this place

Meat is not bad, but the way of talking with customers is ridiculous. I don't know that guy name; some staff call him Raja may be his nickname. It is not with me also my other family member have face this problem today and before. Because today's business completely base on customer service. I don't know other people face or not but this behaviour should be changed. Ultimately they are loosing promising customers. Also lack of professionalism.
