I personally have trained at multiple Jiu Jitsu gyms and I can honestly say that Pure Jiu Jitsu Southern Highlands, located in the heart of Bowral, is by far the most welcoming, professional and addicting place to train. Head Coach Tony Pycroft is one of the most passionate, patient and giving people I have come across. I can really feel and see that he is only interested in helping people become the best they can be, on and off of the mat.The rest of the team at Pure Jiu Jitsu are like minded, helpful and caring men and women. Everyone is there to look after each other and ensure that we have a safe place to develop our technique, and push ourselves to the limits mentally and physically.I love this place! Home away from home!

The best Martial Arts teacher around, very patient and good with the kids . The kids all have a good time with Tony whilst learning defence skills.

Our Son Maximus started 3 months ago and absolutely loves going to see Tony, Jake and the team. This is much more than learning Jiu Jitsu, Maximus has become a better version of himself. He now displays greater respect for those around him and has much better self control of his emotions.

I've been training here regularly for a while and I can honestly say it's the best BJJ gym I've ever been to. Great energy, great instruction and no egos. Tony Pycroft is a great coach who makes us all work hard, but understands that everyone is different and on their own journey. My whole family trains here so I couldn't recommend it enough. Life wouldn't be the same without this place!

Joined Pure Jiu Jitsu with my son as a hobby for us both. What we discovered was a great sport, good friends who love to have a laugh and get fit together. We look forward to each training session.
