Alex Driving School

Got a pre - drive test lesson with Elias from Alex Driving School and it was a great experience. Thorough guidance, lots of tips and bits that actually help, all in a very calm and positive atmosphere. Passed the test at a first go. Will take my partner to these guys, they know what they are doing.

I passed my driving test today, thanks to my driving instructor Santos.Santos was very patient throughout every lesson, and helped me to understand any confusions I had regarding road rules and driving. He was even very kind enough to supplement me a free additional 30 minute session, following a few cancellations at the start. I was very appreciative of this by Santos. He provided good constructive criticism, and even helped to pinpoint some details about my driving I could've improved on.I recommend lessons with Santos. He is very knowledgeable of the roads in Carlton. :)

Me and my wife converted our overseas license, both had Tony as our instructor and both passed without any issues. Tony was great, candid feedback on point; very focused on the details and really invested in our success at the driving exam (some interesting conversations as a bonus). All the tips, the routes and the dynamic of the lessons, are just like the actual exam.I would highly recommend the 5 lesson package, the test is serious and I think that even for experienced drivers is not an automatic pass (do not save pennies and do not risk it with only one or two lessons). I am glad that the process is now complete, much to thank Tony and Alex driving school.

5 ⭐️ for my driving experience with Santos.He was absolutely the best instructor I could have asked for.Although he brought up mistakes he was not overly critical, and delivered constructive feedback in a way that was actually helpful. I particularly loved the debriefing at the end of each lesson that helped me to remember what I needed to improve and gave me things to practice for the next time.On top of that there were many small indicators throughout our lessons that affirmed not only is Santos a good driving instructor, he is a great TEACHER and I truly felt he cared about helping me to pass my test.After a previous experience I was quite anxious and he kept reminding me that despite my anxiety passing my test was within reach. He made learning to drive enjoyable.The deduction of one star is not for Santos, but for my previous driving experience with the same company which was not positive.Passing your test is not just about knowing the skills it's also having the confidence and support to execute them. This is why I highly recommend choosing an instructor that reflects that in their reviews, and that you feel comfortable driving with.My recommendation?Santos.

Thanks Tony Athanasiou for being such a great driving instructor. Tony made the learning experience enjoyable and serious at the same time. He was incredible honest and professional throughout the whole process. He helped me overcome my bad habits and improve as a driver. I did well for my test and passed - it was a miracle.

I found Alex Driving School online and they assigned Tony as my instructor. He is a cool guy who knows what he is doing. His instructions were accurate, helpful, and were surely tailored to help me face the test. He was professional but also friendly and had a great sense of humor. He helped me calm down and remain peaceful minutes before the test by answering my questions patiently. Definitely recommend him as your instructor.I wish Tony and the Alex Driving School best of luck!

Managed to pass on first try at VicRoads Carlton all thanks to the guidance of my instructor Santos. Santos is a patient and thorough instructor who delivers well structured lessons starting with clear expectations and his debriefing at the end of each was very helpful in highlighting particular mistakes and areas that I needed to be more mindful of. Started from ground zero with no experience in driving at all, and with just 17hours of lessons I felt well prepared for my test. More importantly, Santos' teaching and encouragement built confidence and safe driving habits. Thank you!

From a parent.....we booked Tony as an instructor for my nearly 18 yr old son with great success. Kid have been having lessons with a different driving school that left him with less confidence after every lesson.So glad that he and Tony got on well, Tony's feedback was given thoughtfully, he was easy to contact online and through text, lots of drives around the area the test is booked at, works on what the kid's driving weaknesses are, fees are transparent and was happy to try and fit lessons around kid's other commitments.Highly recommend!

I had a really positive experience learning to drive with Tony as my instructor, I highly recommend him. I had him instruct me when I was first learning to drive, but also when I recently passed my test first try with him.He was able to give me detailed advice and tips that helped me build confidence and healthy driving habits. He was very good at developing an individualised strategy to focus on what I needed to improve in my driving. An all round great experience, he made me feel comfortable and his feedback was always informative and helpful.

They were amazing!I was able to pass the driving test despite myself thanks to Tony's awesome guidance. His advice was always clear and informative, always ready to answer any of my questions.
