The service was amazing, our waitress was so lovely & made our experience memorable. The food came out very quickly & was delicious. Highly recommend checking out Shinya Ramen.

Shinya Ramen & Bar Torquay
Nice food, loved the gyoza, agedashi tofu, karaage chicken. My wife thought it was a bit too moist. My eldest loved the ramen. Robot server missed our table a couple of times and I think some people were stopping in just to see it. The range of sake was good too. Minor complaint, the seats could have used a cushion or two.

Very impressed with the quality of the food and service. The sashimi plate would have to be my favourite and the miso steak. The seaweed salad is also a must try. Would definitely recommend and will be returning to try out some other items on the menu.

A great family outing! The food was delicious! The kids menu is awesome - my fussy son absolutely loved it! The robot delivering food was a fun experience! We will definitely be back!

The broth is as thick and flavourful as everyone says - its so amazing! Its very different from the ramen I usually get, so it was almost shocking.We had the tonkotsu ramen and chicken ramen salad~!

Very nice place, nice atmosphere and nice staff. We didn't wait long for our food.The noodles were tasty and nicely cooked but I found the 10 hour stewed pork bone broth insipid with a strong oily after taste. The chashu was a dried flavourless super thin slice of pork and the 1/2 egg was barely marinated.I told this to the waitress and she advised the chef. They will be more mindful in the future.

Had dinner at this restaurant last night, was not impressed with anything, all just Ok.Place felt unclean, the robot had food spilt on it & the table we sat at was sticky.The food was fatty & oily especially the Ramen broth.More like a fast food joint than a restaurant.Much better choices in town for this type of food.We will not go back.

Great little Japanese eatery that's tucked away in a laneway in the middle of the main Torquay shopping strip. When it's quiet, your food might be delivered by a robot server that liven up the experience.We ordered the spicy pork gyoza and karaage chicken platter for entree. The gyoza were not spicy however, they were delicious and juicy! The karaage was juicy and interesting, though not very crispy. It's a different style of karaage coating compared to what we're used to but that's fine.For the main, we ordered 3 different ramen: the Speciality tonkotsu ramen, the Tantan spicy ramen, and the supa spicy ramen. All 3 ramen were excellent and filling.After we ordered food, the restaurant got very busy so service was quite slow after that. I would still highly recommend a visit to Shinya as it is a fun experience. They also have an extensive drinks menu that's worth a few repeated visits to try out, including sake on taps!
