These guys are the best. Super friendly, and very supportive for beginners. You go in and know they sell you stuff you want, no upselling and making you feel uncomfortable.I only shop here now as I trust their knowledge and experience, and you can tell they love to help. Definitely worth supporting this small buisness :).

Asked about a beginner board, wanted to buy one secondhand - got shown a really quality board, and the guy said that it's beginner-friendly. Was not, was a gun way too small for me, narrow as hell.Feel very ripped off

Always great going into Big Surf, lovely friendly owners who know so much about great clothes, boards, watches and sunglasses, also have lovely dog called Chilli. Go and take a look its an awesome shop for everything including gifts.

The owners dog was lying out the front right next to the door to the only entrance to the shop and my son put his hand out and the dog bit him. Staff did not apologiise simply said there is a sign saying don't pat the dog. The dog was not sitting near a sign that said don't pat dog. (I checked) why would you have a dog that you no bites at a public shop where children enter? Absolutely disgusting.

One of the nicest, cleanest and most welcoming surf shops around. It looks and feels fantastic with a very quaint coffee van out the front. Like any surf shop, it is expensive but this is one of the better ones to go to.
