It's been a while since I have had my ears pierced. I visited to have one lobe, which had grown over, repierced. I say up front that I am a mature client. SkinKandy offers many services I would never use. The process was quick and a lot of written material and saline water for cleaning daily was included. The cost was a lot more than I expected for a 2min process. For young clients it's probably a great shop.

Got my nose piercing by Hannah today. She was very friendly and informative. Definitely recommend getting your piercings from her!!

Just had the best experience ever. I've been trying to get my nipples peirced for years, finally I found Amii who did them and she is the best. Once again I gotta thank her.

My girlfriend had a piercing booked in for 2:45pm and had an hour wait but was told a “little wait” when she arrived. She was taken for her piercing at 4pm.. it’s now cost us money for parking which we wouldn’t have had to pay for had everything gone the way it should have. The staff were nice but that wait time was ridiculous and should have reflected in the price considering we had a booking for this reason of not having over an hour to wait.

Both assistants (female and male) were rude, sarcastic and unfriendly. Condescending at the very least. There was no way I was trusting these two with even simple ear piercing or giving them my money. I was so disappointed! Do not waste your time.

First time getting pierced here and I'm considering on not going back. Only came here since it was recommended to me by friends for there was a lower chance of getting piercings infected at SkinKandy just as a general.----My main issue here is the atrocious wait time despite doing a booking. What was meant to be only a small wait of 5-10 mins turned into almost an hour. I was ONLY served because I almost walked out of the shop. If this is the way to go to be served then I have no words. I don't know if this is only SkinKandy Chermside's issue but, I'm honestly disappointed?Please do not do walk-ins before a booking just because a quota needs to be a met etc. I sincerely wasted my time waiting as other walk-ins were served before me. I had the pleasure of speaking with other people who also used to do bookings previously with SkinKandy who instead opted for a walk-in since 'they would get served faster'. The fact that this thinking exists speaks a lot more than it should be. I want to say either get more staff on the Thursday or have a better way to handle walk-ins and book-ins.----The time it took to do my two piercings was 8 minutes. My wait time was 46 minutes.

I’ve recently had 2 x flats and my thirds done by Renee at Chermside and it was a great experience. She was informative and really relaxed when we were about to get the piercings started. She was quick, calm and efficient which made for less pain and it was an overall pleasant experience.

The technicians were lovely however a lot of confusion between the staff as to who was looking after who. I was quoted $280 at the beginning however ended up paying $350 for two piercings on each of my ear lobes (with a needle) and 14k gold earrings. Called the customer service team to ask for a break down of the receipt and she was unable to give me an exact price or find the receipt. Looking at their menu online $80 for double ear lobes + $150 for earrings = $230. I was charged extra for the cleaning solution but wasn’t given an option to say I didn’t want it, bumping my total to what should have been approx. $250. Disappointed and wouldn’t recommend to a friend.

Fairly ridiculous policies. Took my 14 year old in for a piercing. Wouldn’t take the booking without photo Id for a 14 year old and Medicare card. What 14 year old carries around or even has a photo ID, and what had medicate got to do with a piercing. No other piercing place requires this - only the parent consent and their photo ID. We happily took our business elsewhere and got done with smiles on everyone’s faces.
