I have never written negative reviews on accommodations before, but in this case I find that I have too.Im doing this for multiple reasons:1st being I’m so angry and annoyed with this accomodation and management for totally being ripped off.And 2nd to make the rest of the public aware off this accomodation, and management.You may also be asking why didn’t we just leave. Well lakes was fully booked, and I had paid via booking app (I wouldn’t have gotten my money back.) and I do have to admit, at least we had a bed and a roof over our head.We (me, husband & small puppy) stayed for 2 nights.Paid via booking sight, we were not expecting to pay for our puppy, BUT when we arrived management informed and charged us of $150 extra, OMG, never have I pd that much for my small puppy to stay with us, alway been $35 to $50 at the most.(absolutely outrageous)We booked via Agoda site it doesn’t say anything about charges for dog!!We are totally disappointed in this accommodation. We’ve stayed in lots of places, and this has to be the worst we’ve ever stayed in.Dirty, stains in basin, cobwebs, walls scratched, floor uneven, with bubble in vinyl flooring and dirty vinyl sofas.Had no towels, (till we asked) and no coffee, sugar or even had wifi for that matter and web site states all of the above was included. But was NOT.Our bar fridge kept leaking water onto the floor, and didn’t freeze ice, (till the next night we were there,) and it barely kept our drinks cold.The queen bed had a single bed sheet, draped from head to toe, (did not cover sides off bed)It would have been nice to have had a small coffee table.I definitely would not recommend this accommodation at in its current state.Please do not be fooled by pictures, they are old.This establishment is run down and tired, needs major work to get it up to standard.Also forgot to mention that there's no play ground, games room, & bbq, which in the photos & descriptions on all booking sites show and state that they exist (they do NOT - they use too)

This has to be hands down the worst accommodation I've stayed at in Australia. The whole cabin smelt like urine and mould. So bad that we had to setup a tent out the front because of the smell. All the cutlery and cooking utensils were dirty and in a mouldy cupboard. No hot water at all. The owner even charged my account an extra 50 dollars with the description as pet fee, even though we had no pet whatsoever. I'd give 0 stars if I could

1.5 stars/5I generally avoid leaving strongly negative reviews for small businesses knowing how much it can impact them, unless there were major issues that need to be addressed. This accommodation had major issues. We were looking for dog friendly accommodation for a weekend stay in Lakes Entrance so we landed on this as it seemed affordable and conveniently located.Avoid cottage 7 at all costs, the dog friendly" room

This accommodation is disgusting. Upon arrival we find cockroaches in the bathroom, mould in the shower dust on the beds.Air-conditioning not working fridge dirty on the inside.We slept above the bed covers and still got some version of dust mite or bug bites the next morning. Still dealing with the itchiness days later..Pls close this disgusting place down for cleaning and make the owner accountable.He has many one star complaints over years but people are still getting fooled because of false advertising and untrue reviews on various platforms.

There is a reason this place is cheap. I wouldn't be recommending it. We arrived and reception was closed and locked up. Nobody answered despite our knocking on the door. Advertised telephone number had been disconnected and we couldn't reach the booking agency. We ended up having to stay in a nearby town.

Worst accommodation. Booked last minute for 3 adults and 2 pets through Airbnb there was one cup, no glasses, a weird but not overpowering smell, the shower had mould around the edge of the base, basin wasn't cleanand the wifi wasn't working. I contacted Charlie he said I could get the extra cups and glasses from unit 3, unit 3 had a strong urine smell and also not enough cups glasses etc. I contacted Airbnb and put in a complaint and 4 hours later after we had packed up and left Airbnb called Charlie had said we could move into another unit, I told them we had left and found alternative accommodation and Airbnb have arranged a refund so we are definitely luckier than some. Photo's show the basin shower and everything in the cupboard for a 4 people.

I’ll give zero if I can. The sanitary conditions are extremely terrible. Cobwebs around windows, sticky blinds, sticky kitchen, bathroom basin with buildups, very smell fridge…… Dust and fur are visible on the bed.It’s understandable that the price is a bit higher than usual due to public holiday, but over $800 per night for this small three-bedroom unit for this sanitary condition is very unreasonable.

My sister drove from Adelaide to Lakes Entrance and didn’t get to stay as her booking was double booked an hour and a half before her arrival, while she was travelling, Charlie cancelled it…her sister had to find something else for her while she was driving. Pretty poor effort, wouldn’t recommend staying here, even the other place the my sister got me into rated this place as dodgy.

This accomodation is an absolute scam! The photos are not what real life looks like at all. We booked a 2 night stay and the place was not only falling apart (carpet so worn you could see base, lino in bathroom all lifting on the edges, blinds all broken, paint patches all around toilet) but filthy! There was food all smeared over the oven, cockroach in the shower and even an old pizza box under the couch! And it clearly had not been cleaned from last stay with previous persons toilette bag still in there! We refused to stay and tried to get our money back and the owner is still continuing to refuse to refund us, Hotels .com is terribly unhelpful also! We will be taking this mater to consumer affairs now as this is illegal! Do not book!
