Unfortunately didn’t have a good experience dining here.It was difficult to find something GF even though their menu looks like it has options. It was either they were out of stock (at 2pm), or it just wasn’t available that day. Made it really hard to eat something substantial.Ordered the fish and chips and they were not good. The fish was incredibly oily, tasteless and clearly not fresh because the texture was off. No amount of lemon could save the fish, because the batter absorbed the lemon and you couldn’t taste it anyway. A huge shame for Port Douglas where they’re known for their beautiful Barramundi. The chips had little to no seasoning and didn’t save the meal. I couldn’t finish the meal and wasn’t happy with it. For $29, I expect a lot better than that.It seems like their picturesque seaside views and the large venue are their selling point, but they need to redirect their focus onto the quality of their food instead.I wouldn’t recommend, I wish we visited elsewhere.

I came for the beer. But the prawn linguine should renamed chorizo linguine, cause it only tasted chorizo (max 2/5 in rating). And the linguine was overcooked… But beer and trivia was great.

Ordered vegan option but came with chicken. Waited 70 min but at least warned it would take 50 min. Beer was average - not great but not bad. Staff were very good. Overall a little disappointed compared to other experiences in Port Douglas.

Hemingway’s Brewery were able to support me to accommodate a large group of people with less than 24 hours notice, which was much appreciated. Wide range of food and beverage options to suit all dietary requirements. The staff were friendly and super efficient. Great experience. Beautiful location too.

Having visited before and enjoyed it we booked a table for 7pm. We were told when we ordered the wait time for food was 1 hour. 90 minutes later, the bar was half empty but we were still without food as were many other hangry diners. Eventually we were offered our money back as obviously our food hadn’t even started to be made. We left at 9pm hungry and extremely disappointed with not even the offer of complementary drinks. It’s a great location but they obviously have some issues they need to address.

Our family visited Port Douglas for the first time. This pub/restaurant is a pleasant place by the water. It was lovely for a relaxing (late) lunch. The food was tasty and the staff were friendly (especially the barman who recommended good lagers). The Hero Burger and Tropical chicken pizza were highly rated by the hungry kids.

If you're looking for an experience on the marina, many would recommend the brewery. However, keep your expectations in check. The location is fantastic, but the watermelon and lychee cocktail I had was underwhelming and flavourless. Ordering a colourful and fruity beverage, one would expect sweetness masking the alcohol it was imbued with. Not the case. The chips were small appearing as offcuts. Pieces were half the size of a pinky finger. The only upshot is at least they'll all be crispy (if that's what you're looking for in fried potatoes!). Certainly not fluffy on the inside. The vegan pizza was one redeeming part of this experience. While the toppings were light-on, the base and the garlic infusion was appealing. It certainly wasn't a standout pizza, but it was the best part of this experience.Prices are expensive, drinks are below par (we didn't partake in any beer flights so your mileage may vary), but the service was great. Many international visitors work in Port Douglas on working visas. Many Europeans and Brits with a passion for customer service improve the experience and it makes for a far more worldly" experience. While hospitality wages are good in Australia

Very good prices, friendly and efficient service. Really good food. Pizzas are awesome - had the Tropical Chicken and it was best pizza I've had in years: thin crust, very tasty, spicy, but not heavy or greasy. Cobb Chicken Salad was excellent too. Highly recommended.

Went to Hemingways Brewery whilst in town and this place was a vibe for a Wednesday night. Brilliant place to be to watch the sun go down. Massive bar with many options. Obviously tried the tasting board for the beers. All really good. Plenty of food options. Got a pizza, some wings and cheese burger to share which was plenty. All very good too. Took a while to come out so put an order in early! Staff were friendly enough and all in all just a good place to be. Would highly recommend!

Awesome spot to come for a drink especially after a day out snorkelling at the Great Barrier Reef. Lots of choices in beers and some ciders. The real winner here is their unbeatable chips!
