Give it a miss. Worst fish and chips (if that's what you can call them) I've ever had. Steer clear. Take too long, overcooked, inferior frozen products. Might be good plumbers but they are not good at takeaway.

This was one of the few food options open late in Leura on easter Saturday, so my partner and I stopped by for a quick and easy dinner. We got the egg, bacon and cheese burger and the fish & chips. The burger was big, well made, and came with a lamb patty, beetroot, onion which was a pleasant surprise. The fish and chips was also generous in portion size and made fresh, and it had the perfect amount of salting. Despite the negative reviews I can see here, I had absolutely no complaints about this place and would go back for the amazingly cheap food (in total this was $20 for the 2 of us, also no public holiday surcharge!)

Found the head and legs of a cockroach cooked into my rice. Photo has been shared. Can’t contact the owner as the phone is disconnected. I already ate some so I probably ate the body. What a lovely disgusting surprise.

Not the best steak sandwich I've ever had but it was OK - meat was super tough like an old boot. The chips and gravy was pretty good though which got devoured quickly by my two hungry monsters. Honestly, a cheap and cheerful place to grab some food.

AVOID THIS SHOP - We went there in the evening with my family and kids. Upon asking what deals they have in fish&chips the tall Indian guy (sorry I’m not racist but just identifying the person) asked what do I need then I told him what we need and he asked me to pay $45. I again asked is there any deal/combo then he became rude and aggressive in front of my kids and was asking me whether I’m going to pay or what. I asked him is this how he talks to other customer and he started responding with French words in front of my toddler. Seeing such situation we left the shop. This guy is causing damage to this business and a pest to the society. He should go for behavioural course and first learn how to speak with customers before learning how to fry fish. YOU DONT DESERVE MY HARD EARNED MONEY - NEVER GOING BACK!!!

Small place with few dine in tables. There can be a pretty long wait during the weekends, and parking is not readily available by the roadside. Food was pretty good, a little too heavily salted tbo

Absolutely wonderful takeaway! Chips, Potato scallops, pineapple fritters and coffee were all perfect and delicious! Top, friendly service as usual too!! Thank goodness for Leura Takeaway! Best in the mountains!! Highly recommend! A ++++++++

Only ordered chips and they were horrible. They were inedible and had to throw them away. Says a lot when a takeaway shop can’t even cook chips!
