MUJI Canberra Centre

They do a big sale, finally, even 30% off certain items. What they don’t tell you is that they pull items off the shelf so you can’t purchase them discounted. Dodgy business practices.

Basically, I like the shop, but they didn't have the product I wanted in stock even though I came all the way from far away. The staff were not very good, especially the cashier, who was unfamiliar with the store, which made it even more frustrating.

I've been using Muji products for a number of years so far and I have to say that you will not be disappointed by the quality of their Japanese products. Their stationary equipment have a very professional and sleek design, with all of their products being incredibly well made. I will definitely be returning whenever I need to resupply my stationary products. Well done, Muji!

Unfriendly exchange policies. I got a gift, some shirts, and wanted to exchange them for something I preferred. But no exchange was permitted since more than 30 days had passed since the original purchase. Even though the same shirts were still being sold at the same price. The return policy is printed and pasted on the counter at checkout, implying it's an unhappy surprise for others too.

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE TODAT AT MUJI CANBERRA. We paid 48.95$ for an item with a pride tag of 59.95$ with a 30% discount. But when we asked the shop assistant to correct this for us, he peeled off the price tag and told us the discount is based on original price of 79.95$. But even he himself can not calculate the right amount to be paid. He finally offered us to pay $42. But when we did the refund, he asked us whether we have refunded with MUJI for many times before, which is not only humiliating for us as customer but also irresponsible for his own mistake. He and other MUJI employees have not offered any apology throughout the incident. I have reason to question MUJI's mangement for their billing system, and a lot of customers might be ripped off unconsciously. I call ACCC' attention to protect normal customer like us.

I like Muji, but not the stuff in Canberra center, I know we came late after our work, but the closing time on google is 5:30, we arrive at 4:58, the stuff just shut the door before we enter, even though we just 1 meter away, made my daughter scared and cried, I think that’s why they cannot survive in Canberra anymore.
