Been going here for over a decade and as far as I know hands down the best bakery in Sydney. Everything is outstanding but highly recommend the sourdoughs and croissants. Amazingly low key and unpretentious for the quality of what they do. Service is consistently excellent as well.

Tried the fruit tarts, croissant, and pies (chunky beef, mince beef, and lamb coconut).Must try is definitely the croissant and fruit tarts. Most of the bread I wanted was already sold out by 12:30pm on Sunday. The pie beef gravy has a tart taste to it (tomato base), so I personally didn't enjoy it.I'd definitely recommend this place for the friendly service. Sadly, can't pre order first in best dressed.

Super little bakery shop! Lovely block welcome you with big morning smile and the smell of fresh bread and croissant… made me just want to dive into the back kitchen while the Baker was working to bake fresh bread!! Tried spelt ryd linseed sourdough, chunky beef pie, plain and almond croissants~ very crispy croissants and tasty beef pie with real chunky beef. We loved it and will definitely return. Not to mention the freshly baked croissants smell like heaven!! Today we had a unforgettable wonderful breakfast thanks to breads and croissants from Wildcocktoo!

Hands down the best artisan bread in Sydney! The potato-rosemary bread is divine and the croissants are super rich and crusty.I used to live in the area and keep coming back, worth the drive.Would highly recommend this cute little shop in Waterloo.

Wow what an amazing croissant! Great value for money too cos it's HUGE! Baguette stick was crusty and chewy as well. Definitely coming back! There are no seats in the bakery but you can walk around the corner to Terra Cotta Roasters for an amazing coffee! (Separate review)

Absolute 10/10 bakery. I have moved out of the area and still drive 30mins (plus paying tolls!) To get bread. The potato bread and saltbush are a favourite, along with the croissants. Highly recommend.

Wildcockatoo has I think the best artisan baked goods! I have never had such buttery croissants - definitely get one. Although the main start of the show is their sour dough, they have an amazing crush and chewy inner. The owner puts a great deal of love into the what they make.

Avoid at all costs. Just one croissant and you can kiss goodbye to your waistline. Not because they are overly fattening, they are light, fluffy and quite frankly perfect. But one isn't enough. You'll need another. Next thing you know you'll wake in a cold sweat in the middle of the night thinking, nay, craving one of their heavenly delights. Please send help. And a personal trainer. I'm not giving up the croissants but need to work off the calories.
