Blue Marlin Fish and Chips

What a bloody top service!Absolute wonderful staff that provide beautiful (clean) tasting food.I’m not from around the area and I will be stopping by any chance I get to have a cracka feed.

An old-fashioned fish and chip shop. Wow. The calamari, the salt and pepper squid and the seafood sticks were tender, not chewy at all, fresh and tasty. Cheery staff too. A friendly family.

Delicious $6 grilled mullet and chips. The skin on the mullet is nice and crispy and the chips are AMAZING! I've also tried the calamari rings which have a nice crumb coating. Very fresh food and nice staff.

Seating:The Blue Marlin is a small takeout fish and chip shop.Payment:Place accepts card payments with no surcharge.Staff:Everyone there was extremely nice and friendly and the service was relatively quick.Food:We ordered the Mixed Grill Pack ($15) and also the Fisherman’s Basket ($15). Both meals were extremely filling and tasted great.In the Mixed Grilled Pack, the grilled fish was tender and full of flavour and the batter on the fried fish was light and not too heavy. The octopus was mildly spicy, cooked perfectly and was not too chewy. This was also paired nicely with the massive pieces of prawns and mussels. The prawns and the mussels were both extremely fresh and tasted amazingIn the Fisherman’s Basket, the fish was fried perfectly and the batter was nice and light. The crab claws, prawn cocktails and calamari all tasted amazing as well. You could tell that everything was extremely fresh.The chips were pretty decent as well, although I would have personally liked them a bit crispier but they still tasted great nevertheless. The coleslaw salad was also nice and refreshing.

Grabbed some takeaway after seeing rave reviews from this fish & chip shop. We ordered their fish of the day, some fish and chips and some grilled octopus. Unsure if it was just the selection that we ordered but the fish was ok. Good serving size but chips were quite dry. We were also expecting the octopus to jsut be lightly grilled and not smothered in sauce (which tasted like sweet chilli). Unfortunately it ruined the octopus completely which was a little disappointing. Staff were very friendly and seems to be a very popular place for locals so could have just be unlucky with our choices!

REALLY good fish & chips. Best I've had in a long while. Large portions, I should have shared with my significant other. Batter was wonderfully crispy and thin, fish was moist and flavorful. Chips had good crisp and nice interior. Of course add the chicken salt. And don't forget to get some sauce. This is how it's done.

Dropped by the other day during the holiday period. I found the place to have good customer service and the food was as excellent!!. Ordered grilled fish & chips and garlic prawns.Definitely one of the top seafood take away places around the area.

Fair prices for good food for any age range.

Delicious, fresh and affordable seafood. The only downside is it took sometime for our food to arrive. We will definitely return if we are in the area :)Edit: Mark ( the owner) explained the situation in the comment and I totally understand good things take time! So just want to add that this place is definitely worth the wait and yes the lemon Sole and red Emperor was cooked to perfection!
