Park Drive Motel

Room space was good however there was no power to any of the sockets and all the electrical appliances including TV, refrigerator, Kettle, Microwave oven, Hair dryer were all unusable. The only things that worked were aircon and lights. Nothing else did function. We booked two rooms and the condition was the same in both. Stayed at several motels and as a motorcycle traveller, I just need the basic ameneties and a place to sleep. However if you can't even provide the very basic things, please mention that explicitly while booking so we could stay elsewhere.

Didn't dissapoint.Read a few reviews, so I was expecting a bit of local culture. However, when we arrived a resident of the nearby caravan park was engaged in a colourful argument with an unknown (likely a figment of her imagination). This altercation was observed by all patrons of the motel, who were all entertained while watching from the motel balcony.In the adjacent parking behind the nearby Shell servo, was a man in his van (I'll name him Darren). Darren seemed well accommodated, choofing cones all night and feeding the local feral Pigeons.The young man at reception was really good and helpful. The room was actually really quiet at night and had hot water and worked fine.

Lovely, large, clean room with a very nice, modern bathroom. Plenty of bench space and cupboards. Fully equipped with mini fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave, iron and ironing board, crockery and cutlery, spare pillows and blankets.Staff are friendly and obliging.This IS a pet friendly motel and my toy poodle enjoyed his stay and met 3 other well behaved pups.Of the 2 pet friendly motels I stayed in on my short trip (4 nights) this one was definitely my preference.

After several calls to other motels in Kempsey, which we have been to previously, we were able to get a room here. We had trouble finding the motel as we just didn’t drive far enough out of town. We asked a local and he was horrified and said it was surrounded by druggies and homeless. We still went there. The room was very clean and spacious. Enough crockery etc for 4 people. Some others we have stayed at have not supplied enough for 2 people. Being December it was expensive but not as much as one other motel. Anyway we were very happy with the manager and the motel and would visit again. No problem with noise and even though there were a few homeless people parked behind our room we had no concerns.

Very clean, Pet Friendly, large rooms and lovely staff. Very quiet, no road noise so great nights sleep on lovely beds. Close to everything. Will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend.

I needed a room urgently as the motel down the road only booked me for 1 night but they new I needed 2 nights and the pretty much kicked me out & said they can’t accommodate 1 more night.

Good location and priceMotel a little rundown like most in Kempsey but bed was comfortable.Quite a few small cockroaches in the room. No chain for locking door from inside.Good supply of utensils and crockery

Room was not entirely clean and we found bottles under the bed from previous guests. Hot water was not hot, it was Luke warm. You can hear guests next door with not much sound barrier. We were happy to move on from a single overnight stop over. Won't be back. Better options available.
