I was referred to McLintock International by a good friend. As it was my first import from China, I had no idea what to do. Duncan was extremely helpful guiding me before the import on exactly what documentation was needed. I could easily relay this to the manufacturer in China. I appointed Manuel of McLintock International to process the clearance of my container from a referral from my Indonesian freight agent. I cannot thank Manuel enough for the time, effort and care he put into my clearance. I had an issue with the quarantine side of the clearance due to some timber containing minimal amounts of mould. Quarantine directed all timber to be treated with ethylene oxide, gamma radiation, destroy or re-export all of which were a highly expensive option. Manuel disputed the directive from quarantine. The goods were then re-inspected and bleached saving me thousands of dollars in the process. What is difficult to explain is the highly complex process Manuel had to go through to try and obtain this final outcome. Manuel spent countless hours, sent several emails at no extra cost to me. I highly recommend his services.
