The Dept. of Design

Our builder’s package included Dept. Of Design doing our interior and exterior schedule. Found them very frustrating to deal with, and they didn’t listen to us very well at all. Attention to detail was poor, so I had to correct details on the schedules which we had already told them. Our exterior schedule got rejected under the suburb covenant due to not complying, because they didn’t update one of the selections when I told them it was wrong.We also have the wrong product in our house because they refused to update a selection in the interior schedule, claiming the one they put down was the same product. It’s not. And now we have a cheaper product than the one we chose.The kitchen splashback they specified was not compliant under Australian standards, and they refused to find an alternative so we had to get our kitchen joinery company to identify and organise a supplier.One star because they chose a nice paint color for the interior wall.

We did a complete strip and interior design including removing walls. Louise and Chelsea were awesome. Exceeding our expectations. Stuck to timeline, budget and impressive design. Highly recommend
