Leading Note

WOW! We do these lessons with our children. We understand the importance of finding that sweet spot between academic rigour and the hands-on. Leading note create completing absorbing experiences for children - but don’t be surprised if you, as a parent, don’t become just as swept up in this musical world that Sophie brings to your living room. As parents, we come from a background of Clinical Psychology, Primary and Secondary school teaching and we run a successful freediving school. We can’t think of a better way to foster cognitive development than a classical education that starts young and this is the place to do it. We are grateful to the energy and thought that goes into your programming. Thank you.

Our son loves Sophie and her class. He's been going to musical adventures for almost two years since he was 6 month old. I'm truly amazed by how much he has learnt and he can now participate in the activities. Sophie is a great teacher. The class is well structured and it is a friendly and clam environment for the children to explore and develop their love of music.

We have learned so much from these classes. As well as being a wonderful introduction to music, it is a rare privilege to witness our 2 year old and 4 year old so engaged, in a structured, peaceful learning environment. By the second or third class, they had gone from tornadoes of distracted energy to attentive, interested and engaged. Sophie is a wonderful teacher - nurturing and attentive with a passion for her subject.I highly recommend Sophie's classes.

My daughter has grown to love Musical adventures she started the classes all shy but by term four we had a confident little girl who didn’t hesitate. We love the music and the playing of the instruments especially the books.

A fantastic, interactive musical experience for children where they are offered to participate hands on and encouraged to learn at their own pace in an upbeat, friendly environment. This experience forms a wonderful building block to set the foundation for a future in music and structured social interaction.

The class is wonderful. Our little one has so much fun and he gets excited playing with the instruments and trying to follow along with the songs and actions. I believe that it's really helping with his mental development and giving him a good first experience with learning in a group setting. Sophie is vibrant and engaging and is wonderful with all the children.

We adore our Musical Adventure each week!Our 2 year old has been part of Sophie's wonderful classes for three terms and has grown and developed so much in his confidence, language, singing and rhythm in this time. He runs out the door to make it to class on time, dances, sings along to the songs we've learned and loves participating in playing various instruments with Sophie.Our 4 month old loves listening and watching too!

Sophie's Pioneer classes have been wonderful fun and a great developmental tool for my young daughter. She began classes at 11 months old and quickly learned to wait her turn, to play all different instruments and to share (at least sometimes - we're still working on that!) The class is varied so the babies don't get bored and it's so beautiful watching them transfixed when Sophie plays the violin. I also appreciate that Sophie goes out of her way to find books that are gender balanced and inclusive to read to the children. Highly recommend.

As an educator and new mother, it brings me so much joy to share in Sophie’s music classes with my 5 month old, Finn.Not only can I rest assured that he is getting the very best introduction to quality music education but also through his musical explorations with Sophie’s expert guidance, he is building essential foundation skills in literacy, numeracy, creative thinking, social skills and personal development.Also, the way in which Sophie has managed to adapt her music classes to the new online learning format (during Covid-19) while maintaining the engagement and enjoyment of a group of young children is truly awe-Inspiring!Highly recommended to all with youngsters!
