The Vanilla Slice is one of the best meals I've ever eaten, I can't stress how much of a necessity it is to have one if in town. Everything else looked amazing as well, but after seeing the size of the slice, I could only try one... Back for the eclair tomorrow

We had breakfast here on our last day in town. If the weather is nice then head out to the tables by the water for a scenic view and breeze with your coffee. The cafes in Agnes Water and 1770 have a thing about their vanilla slices. The central qld slice off we called it. We can see why these guys took it out in 2018!!

I would complain about the service but there is noneIt won't let me reply to the owner , the problem two staff members one who was actually busy but was obviously kitchen staff, while the person supposedly serving looked busy doing little while several customers waited , finally when once served your told to go outside and buy from the coffee van because they were to busy ,well being an ex owner of that type of business for nearly 20 yrs I can tell by what's sit outside as customers and what's happening inside whether staff are under the hammer or are simply not up to standard or interested in their job. We went up the road where the staff were far more friendlier and will serve.

Grundy spot with great views and a wide selection of unhealthy treats. Fish and chips, burgers etc. looks like a bar is open a bit later.

If you're after a wonderful cafe then 1770 Marina Cafe is the place to go. Most delicious and fresh food with amazing presentation and thoughtful touches. The option of sitting outside by the water was the best way to start the morning with a unique seating area, a beautiful view and we were lucky enough to see dolphins! Not to mention all the staff were super friendly and lovely, Highly recommend.

Nice place to eat and have a drink watching the sunset. Nice friendly atmosphere and friendly staff. They have some home brews on tap too which was actually pretty good. The restaurant is ok but not excellent. Food portions where fine but could be a bit tastier. Knowing that there is little else to do or go to this is a good choice.

At first you don't realise that the outdoor seating by the water is also part of the Marina Cafe but once you do it's a beautiful spot to enjoy a quick meal or coffee by the water. The shop feels like your local takeway or deli and once you place your order in the shop, they give you a buzzer that lets you know once your order is ready. Coffee was excellent and the food we ordered simple but delicious. Prices were fair and good sized portions. My boy also enjoyed feeding the fish, which you can buy some fish food for $2.
