VW King

The work and level of service here is next level. I'll never go to another mechanic again. Moshie and Jimmy are professionals at what they do and my 70's beetle is always looked after. It's nice to find a mechanic who will service my old vw without being pretentious and charging an arm and a leg. I have had a fair bit of work done here now and much more to have done in the future.

Moshe and Jimmy are real mechanics. No bullsh!t, old school shop guys who know their trade and will reward you with a great conversation while they happily work on your car. If it's older than 1990 and needs some love, take it to the best in the business. We love VW King!

VW king are a great source for parts and advice but that is ITDO NOT let them touch your car. I brought my beetle in for a quick checkup (which they said they'd do for free) but it ended up taking 3 days and cost me about a week's wage. And in the end, my car was worse than it was when I brought it in. They even replaced a part that we told them SPECIFICALLY NOT TO REPLACE, so now I'm going to have to go in myself and rectify their error.

Highly recommended to get written quote or record on your phone the exact given price they say.for any repairs or parts.You will be greeted with a bill 25/50% more on arrival for pick up every time.They know there old stuff but shocking at customer service.

I would say prince but not a King. I would call him vw King when he got all parts of vw but unfortunately even the front bumper bar he doesn't have it

Recommended 5* I have not been a customer of theirs but when I went in to price some parts I thought were the solution to a long standing problem, without hesitation…or cost…they spent over 2 hours swapping out and testing all the $$$ of parts that I would have bought with fingers crossed… none of which were the problem. The part I actually needed was also on the shelf…fitted, tested, engine tuned, and I drove away very happy…. for the price of the part only, which was cheaper than anywhere else!

Called to enquire about my VW car and spoke to Jimmy. I've never spoken to anyone as rude as this guy. Fair enough he's having a bad day (it was 8.30am) but telling me to get rid of my car as the parts would be too expensive" and "I'm sick of these complaints" doesn't help my situation. DO NOT USE! took my car to fix my brakes, car was ready 2 weeks later after changing a Master Cylinder and charging $800 over the initial quote. to top it off as i was testing my brakes in his car park my front wheel came off dropping my car to the ground! after getting wheel back on and taking it back home on the trailer my brakes are even worse then when i took it to him! I called him to fix it properly he told me to come in on a Sunday and he will charge me more to fix it and if i wasnt happy to take it to A Current Affair and that he doesnt care what i do. This guy needs to seriously consider retirement , i could go on and on with everything that happened - point i need to get across is DO NOT USE HIM FOR THE SAKE OF YOUR OWN SAFETY !

Worst Retail shop ever came across, called first time for engine case, they said they have it but need one week to dismantle for me. A week later, they said they totally forgot about it, and asked for another week. Two weeks later, the owner goes: if you can't wait

I would only go to VW King for servicing of my fun bug...!
