Hair of the Dog

Wonderful groomers our cavoodle Maxy has had a full groom here multiple times and always looks great. Always meticulous grooming and amazing service. The previous owner Leonne was always a pleasure we met the new owner Pheobe today she was so kind and gave us a discount. We love that the new change of hands is just as attentive and was a pleasant experience thank you for the amazing service we will definitely be back :)

Love this place! This was our puppy's second trip to a groomer (after having a bad experience at the first place). Leonie was so friendly and the team did such a great job. Nails nicely clipped, ears clean and coat sparkling! We'll definitely be back!

I would highly recommend this amazing groomer that always goes above and beyond. The dogs can run around and aren't stuck in cages. My dog used to hate going to the groomer , but is always happy to go here ! Leonie is always friendly and accommodating.

This was our first visit at this place and they managed to squeeze us in on a Saturday! Our Cooper got a full groom and we could tell he had a great time there. Our dog gets quite anxious with new people but thankfully, Cooper came back happy! Really love the cage free environment - they also let other dogs run around so it was nice for our dog to socialise!

Tamaruke Gus was the dirtiest he has ever been, apart from the time he ran into a sewer. I was embarrassed to bring him in but the beautiful, friendly staff were non judgemental. He got a skilful cut with attention to detail I haven't had before. They did exactly as asked. Groomer was gentle and patient when I peeped through the window. Will definitely make this our regular groomer.

Have been bringing our Pug Kyah here for some time now and she always comes out looking great. She is looked after well whilst there and cannot fault Leonie's grooming salon.

Had a horrible experience here. They seemed to be under staffed and faffed around with my dog for hours! They told me there was going to be a delay which I was fine with, but then blamed the extra time on excessive matting on my dog which was simply not there. Not only was this insulting, but they proceeded to charged me an extra $100 and was incredibly passive when I came to collect my pup. They also gave him a terrible hair cut and left bits of dirt around his stomach area. I will not be coming back.Edit: It’s ridiculous that you’ve accused me of getting the wrong groomer and making this account when I’ve had it for years? It’s not my fault I had enough of a horrible experience to leave my first bad review (which i never do!) - not surprising since the staff was so dismissive of me in store I can only expect the same online. I did not receive any video evidence or even much communication about matting, just the ridiculous cost when I came to pick up my pul after hours of waiting.

Bonnie (my cavoodle) is once again the most beautiful dog in the world. She has just had the best clip ever at Hair of the Dog. She had COVID hair and was a bit matted, she is now gorgeous again. Xxx d

We used to go here, and recommended it highly. NOT ANYMORE seems they have changed owners and it isn’t right. Dogs seem stressed staff as well. I would not recommend!
