Phil was absolutely fantastic. I've had an issue with my toenails for over 6 years and was extremely anxious about it. Phil gave me a lot of confidence and reassurance and was able to fix the issue within 20 minutes. It has been over a month and my toenails are still perfect. He is exceptionally skilled at his job but he is also a genuinely kind and empathetic person who makes you feel safe and comfortable. I would give 15 stars if it was possible.

I have followed Phil from his previous workplace to his own practice (well done, Phil). I have had assessments and orthotics and the occasional foot or nail fix up. He is kinder to my feet than I am. He shows a genuine interest in my health and how my feet effect my health. He also is particular about the shoes I wear and how I lace them up. He pays attention to the flexibility of tendons and how I walk and stand. He is interesting and interested. I highly recommend Phil and Birdwood Podiatry for all your, toe nail tending, foot pain relief, orthotics, and all things podiatry.

Phil is awesome, magic hands. My 11 year old daughter had two badly ingrown toenails and was very nervous and scared when we arrived for her appointment. However, due to Phil’s skill, expertise and fantastic footside manner she was amazed at how easy it was (and didn’t even hurt). Thanks so much Phil!

I took my 3 yo recently to have their feet/legs assessed and Phil was fantastic. He was very gentle and put my child at ease by building a good rapport first and then making it all a bit of a game. Phil is very knowledgeable and made everything easy to understand. Highly recommended!
