Royal Family Hotel
Nicole severed our group of 20 all afternoon. She made us feel at home with her friendly help carrying drinks out to beer garden and knowledge of the area. Snitchels were tasty & good size. Definitely come back. Cheers Neil

Really good value - our meals were all fresh and tasty. Good wine menu. I liked the historical photos in the dining room. Our family was made to feel at home.

Royal Family Hotel
Food was lovely however we went there because it had a playground for young children. There is a gate close to the playground leading to a car park that was padlocked opened. We were told it was for wheelchair access and had to remain open. This is fair enough to have wheelchair access but could they make an alternative? It was very hard with a toddler that made it a game to try and get out the gate into a busy car park. As I said food and staff were wonderful.

Meals not the best, deb potato mix instead of real potatoes vegetables layered on top of potatoes and under steak mushroom sauce was very peppery

Went down on Australia day. Seated outside by the road, watching the cars go by. Seating also out the back as well as inside.10% surcharge on Sunday and public holidays.Ordered our meal and enjoyed the view. After waiting and seeing others get their food who were after us, we started to wonder.After 35 mins, the waitress comes out to double check a part of our order, which raised a few questions, got our meal after 40 minutes.The flavour and cooked quality was excellent, but the amount for what we paid was rubbish.Pic 1 is a cheeseburger ($15 + 10%), not a kids meal.Pic 4 is a beef burger with the lot ($22 + 10%)

Staffs are rude, we went to Port Elliot Royal Family Hotel today. We sat down in one of the table. One of the staff asked us to move to another table as our table was reserved. It is a bit weird as we have already started drinking, she can reserve other table or told us before we sat down. It is not busy at all and the hotel only had 3 groups.We left without ordering food, definitely not come back.

Friendly service, loads of room inside and out. My daughter had the nachos and reclined they're the best she's ever had, I had the salmon off the specials board and it was beautiful

Lunch on a cold Thursday and the dining room was warm with an open fire. Very friendly staff member took our orders. I had the Braised duck legs with winter roast vegetables and broccolini and crispy roast potatoes with a hoisin and 5 spice sauce. The duck was so tender and juicy and melt in the mouth. The winter vegetables included roast beetroot, carrots, pumpkin and parsnip. This meal was delicious and perfectly cooked and seasoned.

Royal Family Hotel
Great location and delicious food. I had the chicken schnitzel with the Californian topping. It was very tasty and a decent portion. Highly recommend this hotel and their schnitzels!
