I cannot believe the portion of the lunch special. There are only three piece of chicken on my grilled chicken rice. Then I ordered another half piece of chicken for my young kid. It is really disappointed too when the food is o. The table. Moreover, there is a 10% surcharge on Sunday: It is not common in VicPark. The notice is not shown on the wall of their shop. It is put next to the door and the cashier. Is it the right invitation of treat? I have a doubt. Is it worth for the extra 10%? Not at all

Been here twice now, and the staff are always friendly and the food has been good on both occasions(we had fried rice both times). Service was understandably quicker and with no mistakes on the day which was less busy. (Second visit was during a very busy time and the food understandably took much longer and we received two wrong orders meant to be sent to other tables- all easily corrected by the lovely staff). I recommend visiting during a non peak time to get the best experience.Pictured: Pineapple chicken fried rice and seafood chilli and basil fried rice. Total cost for the two plates including two mock tails was around 65 dollars.

Worst experience ever ..I ordered a beef massaman with my partnerNo beef at all, small portions for 26$And only oil in the plate no sauce .I felt so bad after eating there and so disappointed almost sick after eating all the oil ..I thought the manager of the restaurant will ask us our experience at the end but she didn’t.Very disappointed on this experience.

Went for dinner at bangkok on street, the restaurant then wasn’t busy, so quite a lot of table available, we were served by a lady in “ man Bob hair style “, we asked if we could sit near the window ( 2 tables available then) she rejected and then walked away put “ reserve sign” on the tables. ..we sat elsewhere and ordered the food, and got drinks and some snacks. Then we saw customers left and there were 2 more tables next to the window avail so we asked her if we could please move there, she rejected again with the excuse of “ they were reserved”. After 20 minutes our food didn’t come yet and those tables were still available and there was 1 more table near the window available so I asked again for it. She rejected again …. .I didn’t like the service so I asked if our food already cooked but she said No ( after half an hour).?so we canceled and went to “ Little ying thai restaurant instead. The little ying thai restaurant was busy but their hospitality is always outstanding. Will never comeback to the Bangkok on street restaurant and will never recommend it to anyone. She didn’t even ask to know why we left…… very unfriendly waitress. Horrible hospitality experience

Not sure why this place has poor reviews. The ambiance and people working there are lovely and prices are reasonable. Everything I’ve tried has always been amazing. My top picks are: Chili fish, whole charcoal chicken, pad thai and veggie fried rice.

Came here for the 4th time, all 3 previous experience was good, food tasted authentic, similar to what I had when I used to live in Bangkok. But this time round, the food was so disappointing. Not sure if the chefs have been replaced etc, food tasted off.Order the Issan Beef Steak, what they gave us was just thinly sliced steak on a hot plate, without the sauce as per the photo. Waitress came to apologise and said that the owner who knows how to make the sauce wasn't there so it came out like that. But we were still charged $24.50 for that dish, which should be waived off out of courtesy for their mistake. Not to mention the steak was tough as rubber. Just look at how sad it looks for that price.Tom Saab wasn't as good as before, colour and taste was off and very gooey, not to mention that they downsized it.Khao Pad Kai was very average and flavourless, unlike before too.Gai Yang...meat was tasteless. Very disappointed.$100 for 2 pax, sub standard food and quality, prepared hastily without putting in much effort and thoughts. Might not go back again.

We got here at 8pm Thursday and waited 10 mins to get service.Waited 30 mins for the first dishes, 45 mins for second dishes. We ordered Tom Yum soup and beef curry. Tom yum soup is not bad, but beef curry tastes like water with turmeric powder and charged for $24 and $26, respectively. The pic is evidence that we have been here. Not a fake review!

my friend and I ate at this place for the first time and it was nothing but disappointment. we ordered the grilled chicken as a whole. we end up getting what looks like half a chicken. not to mention it was overly priced for something that isn't even that good. mediocre at best. we also ordered the squid which to your surprise, we were served with so little amount and was also charging twice the amount. This is place is so good at disappointment that after your first trip, it will make you realize that You were better off getting a rotisserie chicken at coles and broiling it in an oven at your own home.

Dont expect to walk out satisfied.. I wouldn't say it's good .Spent almost $30 for a tiny portion of pork shoulder with a small bowl of sticky rice. The meat is not alot, the veggies are pathetic. The taste is not even good. Prior to this, we already sent back the grilled chicken as it was cold . I wouldn't come back again
