What a little gem of a cafe, very well hidden. Absolutely love the decor inside and out. Excellent quality of food and coffee. The service is to a high standard and friendly. Would highly recommend and will be back!

Nile Street Cafe
I’ve been to Nile Street Cafe before and usually sit outside, however, since the weather was a bit miserable I sat inside today. Being inside is a much different experience to the peace and quiet you get outside, the feeling is a lot more chaotic. While the waitresses were friendly, the food was yummy (as you can see in the picture) and the service was quick, there were a few downsides to my experience. I very clearly saw and overheard a man who appeared to be a manager reprimanding one of the waitresses at the front counter. While I understand issues need to be addressed, I feel there’s better ways to communicate and customers shouldn’t have to hear or see it. I also overheard other snide comments from this man which honestly cast a negative vibe over the entire experience. Another small issue was my coffee tasted a little bit burnt, however, due to the poor communication I heard, I didn’t feel comfortable raising this at the time. I’ve seen other lower rated reviews responded to in quite a dismissive manner, I hope that this review can be taken as constructive criticism and used as an opportunity to improve future customer experiences.

Just arrived Orange today and found a lovely local cafe. Nice decorated little restaurant with very welcoming staffs.But unfortunately the dish was cold and beef was dry. Don’t mind to pay more but hoping to have a fresh cooked meal rather than pre made dish. Very sad experience.

This place is worth the walk out of town - simply excellent breaky spot. Great ambience, and really good coffee. Menu is full of good choices you don’t see everywhere. Halloumi and wild mushroom bruschetta comes highly recommended.

I really enjoyed the roast pumpkin salad but the service was indifferent at best. I sat inside away from the heat and the noise coming from the kitchen was really unpleasant. A lot of pots and pans being packed away, but no effort to place gently to reduce the noise in the cafe. Perhaps more pleasant outside, but not the relaxing lunch I'd hoped for.

Great little cafe tucked away in the back streets of Orange. Quality food so a little more expensive but worth it!
