I first met Melina while I was newly shaken about what to do with my hair loss. She immediately put me at ease and made me feel more comfortable about needing a hair topper. She spent a long amount of time answering every question I had and putting my mind more at ease and dealing with my doubts. I began to trust her from that first meeting. I have suffered the emotional and physical effects of hair loss since the age of sixteen, due to alopecia caused by Lupus. It’s not something I’ve been very open about, working in the beauty industry I haven’t ever felt comfortable enough to share the extent of my loss. The ladies at Beverley May were amazing right from the start. They were sensitive when discussing my hair loss due to chemo, fitted my wig, then when I had begun to lose my hair, they carefully shaved my head and made sure I was comfortable with my wig. It has been 12 months since I first stumbled across Beverly May whilst surfing for products to help with thinning hair. I was fed up, sick and tired of thinking and worrying about my hair or lack thereof, exhausted by the daily battle with dry shampoo and hairspray and embarrassed about being caught in the rain and wind. At my initial appointment I was delighted to learn that a solution was at hand and after Bev clipped in a topper I could not believe the transformation! The order was placed.
