Man alive...when googling the options for tiny house, relocatable dwelling & off grid homes I was so overwhelmed.I came across ModHauz in November 2022. From the outset Tim's communication was clear, he listened & was able to articulate his vision. Most importantly, I felt that he could 'see' what I wanted to achieve.Throughout the process (which was a quick turnaround) Tim kept me updated with progress photos & amended timelines when needed.The team the Tim has around him are wonderful..thankyou James, Zach, Joe, Rusty, Corey & Isaac. I am so pleased with the end result, you all were a pleasure to have around.I would recommend Modhauz to friends, family & all others.Result exceeded expectations..thankyou Tim.I love my Modhauz

I've worked with ModHauz on their projects and Tim has been great to deal with. He's got a great crew, and they're turning out some really high quality products. So much so, that the only negative reviews seem to have come from someone who is angry that Tim won't sell to them...It's hard finding quality trades at the moment, but Tim's done really well putting together a highly skilled and motivated team.

If you're looking to buy a Mod Hauz, do it! I was a bit apprehensive at first, being a new start up and some of the horror stories you hear, but Tim made the process easy and seamless. Due to changing plans and road blocks on our end we were already staying with the inlaws by the time I decided to order a Mod Hauz, thankfully we were able to pick up an order where someone else pulled out. I originally liked the Kirra design, but the order that had been started was the Bangalow. The Bangalow has suited us and our property perfectly! The website shows the kitchen with one burner, but ours was built with two, it shows a small stainless sink, we have a big black sink (which matches the tapware!) and tiled bathroom. It seems like Mod Hauz is rapidly evolving in the initial builds. My husband and I agree the Mod Hauz team are looking to provide a product that is well thought out. There are plenty of power points (no power boards or extensions leads needed), they include the gas bottle for delivery, choice in guttering sides to suit your set up, outdoor powerpoint's and a great amount of storage. We are a family of 5 (we bought a property with a small place that we'll use until we build another place but we bought the Mod Hauz for kitchen and bathroom and threw mattresses down while we tidied up the little place the property came with and the Mod Hauz kept a very comfortable temperature) and in our nearly 3 weeks we haven't depleted the solar batteries yet, even with a few rainy NSW days, and the hot water system is enough for our showers (we stagger them a bit but works well). Even the delivery was awesome, the driver said he hadn't seen a road like ours in his 30 years but after over 4 hrs (what is normally 30 minutes), he got it in, delivered and had the patience of a saint, so I'm sure you'll be able to get a Mod Hauz delivered to many other rough places in Australia if needed. We also entered into the in-house payment plan and it has been very straightforward with no hidden fees. My only advice is to check your appliances and do your research for the solar system. Our pump was kindly upgraded from another company and was too powerful and shorts the system, so we have dropped down to a 900w pump and that can run with everything else in the evening routine, the normal family fridge is fine but the washing machine shorts it. We moved in, naively assuming the Mod Hauz would keep up with everything from our precious big house and the needs of 5 (the little house on our new place doesn't have solar yet, so everything has had to run through the Mod Hauz for the time being).
