An absolute Aladdin’s Cave to explore. The bookThe Book section is the best I have seen in a Salvos Shop, ever, excellent, and a bargain to boot!Only here for short time so didn’t have the chance to fully explore, but when back in the area, definitely will go explore. They have furniture, clothes, books, DVDs, household items etc.Seriously, if you are in the area, go have a look, the ladies in there are super friendly.

All reviews here mention high prices which are hard to justify given they pay nothing for their stock. The cds and dvds are reasonably priced but records were way overpriced. You could add a Bay city rollers lp to your collection for $35. Or Charlie Pride for $15

Unlike some of these reviews, I find the prices here quite reasonable.I’ve bought a number of things that I thought were pretty good value for money.Different strokes for different folks I guess…

Salvos have moved location on the High Street. Venue is spacious but there has been an attempt to organise goods more clearly for the customer. Prices on some clothing items are still extremely high for second hand clothing, but hey, they are trying to make a buck for a good cause.

Items for sale here are very overpriced which is pretty insane considering they were donations. Aside from that the store isn't exactly covid safe, I left after there was a woman walking around not wearing a mask whom was visibly sick and intentionally coughing on everything as if to prove some kind of point.

This is not a charity. Charging $35 for used shoes, given to you for free. I found some trinkets and offered $7, they wanted 12. Unsurprisingly this store is always empty. They refused, they have a poor attitude. I don't even know why this is seem to be a good charity it's not, it runs like a company. I love opshops which is why I avoid the Salvos, save yourself money and go to Kmart instead.

Another Salvos Store which is very overpriced. The prices are as high as in a retail store, which is so sad since it defeats the whole purpose. An Opshop should be a place for people who can’t afford much. I love op shopping and I’m happy to know that the money spent is going to a good cause. I went today and saw a lot of items I liked, but walked out empty handed. I don’t want to pay $35 for a jacket with stains on it. Please make op shopping fun again and consider your prices.

Clean, wearable clothing & household items. Some hidden treasures come through if you like to bargain hunt. The staff have been consistently friendly and the atmosphere is mellow. They have a good rewards program for members that can be used to get money off future purchases. Good value on vintage and second hand clothing, woman's accessories, small furniture items, kid's clothes, board games, CDs and family friendly DVDs and toys.

We visited while on Hols from the Western District, bought a great 60's Vintage Dining suite, staff helped up take the table apart to fit our car as I had to have it. The store is lovely with lots of goodies and kids clothes were all $2....Lovely people..Thank You
