I just wanted to say that our experience with your service has been exceptional from start to finish.. I will have no hesitation in recommending you to friends and family in fact I plan to put something on social media. When I say 'exceptional' it's not that you provided unnecessary bells and whistles or anything like that but we got great information from the start, you organised picking up my Dad so quickly, answered all our questions and didn't give us any grief or unnecessary red tape when we didn't know who would be picking him up. At a time like this, no nonsense service, with compassion, without unnecessary red tape (but enough due diligence) is exactly what a grieving family needs. Sincere thank you from the Brooker family.

We had a pretty bad experience today here. Our committal service was booked in for 12pm. While driving to the crematorium from the church service, we were informed that the hearse had a flat tyre. We were understanding. These unlucky things happen sometimes, and proceeded to Heritage Park Crematorium to wait. Changing one flat tyres shouldn’t take too long…When we arrived at 12pm at Heritage Park, the person in the office informed us that he had just spoken to the two assistants with the hearse and that they actually needed to get four new tyres. He couldn’t give us a time that they estimated to be finished and it seemed to me that there was a little bit of a communication issue among the staff there. We live in Brisbane, so we decided to wait, although we were not sure how long this would take. The hearse ended up arriving at 1:10pm, over an hour later than we had planned. The next family had arrived and kindly let us delay theirs slightly so we could do our committal. We were really upset and disappointed at this happening today. One flat tire happening is unlucky. It seems to me, however, that when they took it to change the tire out of sight at a mechanics/tyre shop, they noticed that the three others were unroadworthy and needed to be changed. We were told that “they wouldn’t let them leave without replacing all 4 tyres”.To us, this isn’t still just an “unlucky once off”. They must have been driving around in this hearse with unroadworthy tyres for quite some time before one finally went flat. Not only is this illegal, we found it terribly unprofessional. Company vehicles (especially hearses) should surely be checked for roadworthyness regularly. We hate to think of our father/grandfather lying in the back of a hearse at a random mechanic shop because this Crematorium had been too unprepared and irresponsible to check the safety of their vehicles. Both assistants were apologetic and we understood this ordeal would have been very stressful, however it was certainly preventable. We would have liked to been offered a discount or some sort of remedy. They struggled to set up our live stream for friends and family interstate because of the time slot and turns out the people watching couldn’t hear the audio anyway. We were offered no apology or discount for this either.Nice grounds, but the service left a lot to be desired. They should start by making sure all their hearses are roadworthy.
