Beautiful place, amazing people, great selection of products! Enjoyed a nice local beer and wine on a Saturday night, went back for an incredible coffee on the Sunday morning and took some very tasty and fresh Biltong home. Customer service is exceptional. Overall this place is one of the best I have seen in any country town.

Authentic South African Biltong made locally with Snowy River beef!I happened upon Basically Local looking for something to do on Sunday afternoon. Fresh Biltong made in-house, locally roasted coffee and unique products. I couldn't have had a better experience chatting with the owners of this fantastic new shop.The coffee was good, but you have not tried Biltong until you have experienced it fresh off the drying rack. For something new, try the wild venison (I wasn't 'game' enough).Can't wait to travel through Lakes Entrance again to revisit and restock for the road.An interesting piece of trivia, packaged (sealed) Biltong is dryer than freshly cut because of Australian food standards. This explains why the Biltong you find at markets always seems to have better texture and flavour.
