Loved my experience at Escarla! Steph is amazing and so knowledgeable and her passion for her work shows!

The place was half empty when I got there. Pregnant lady at reception wasn’t friendly. The girl with glasses that came to inspect the hair for a colour correction suggested to put an all over black dye over the entire hair to fix some patchiness on already blonde hair. Straight away, knew she doesn’t have a clue. Also acted like the hair was really damaged to the point that she can’t even put a colour over it. Hair was fine actually. Not like a Pantene commercial, a tad bit dry but not breaking off or chemically damaged! Totally exaggerated to embarrass the potential client. Went to another hairdresser down the road on the same day and they suggested highlights and toner which solved the problem. Hair health was fine afterwards. Either too lazy, incompetent, not knowledgeable or can’t take walk ins but either way, terrible service. Not sure where the 25 positive reviews come from, must be family or friends.

I have always been well looked after and well advised with the best hair health and style for me. Today was no exception. It is nice to be treated as a valued client that is always greeted with care and respect. BUT I treat all people with respect to. I am very proud of this team of exceptional women. Not often do you witness talented women, supporting, caring and encouraging one another through continual training and development right down to the newest member of their team. This is a wonderful salon to visit with a great family, community, yet in trend vibe. I am not related to any of these women, nor do I socialize with them...I am another local businessperson that appreciates their professional service and genuine care...and will continue to visit them whilst that remains the same. Thank you again ladies for my holiday head massage and my beautiful hair colour, cut and blowdry.

Visited Escarla for the first time for a blow dry & curls for a special event. Absolutely loved my hair. My favorite blow dry I’ve ever received. I didn’t want to wash it out! Friendly and warm staff as well. Felt very comfortable ☺️
