Very happy with my split system service. Tech turned up on time, was well presented. He pulled the system apart and gave it good clean. My ac is running great and the air smells fresher when running the ac.

DONT USE ICE BLASTService not delivered as agreed but they will still force you to pay the full amount.We book one of their technicians to come and check Air Con fault. Tech was booked for 1hr, they said after checking the fault they will repair or spend rest of the time to clean and service the Ducted Air Con System.On the day, tech arrived, found the fault and left in 15min and they still want me to pay $275. I explained them all this and paid $200 but no regardless they want the full amount paid.So guys be aware, they might say that they will spend 1 hour and clean and service the system but the don't. And if you are not there you won't even know.I won't be using them again.FURTHER ADDITION ON 25 Jan 2023This is in response to your reply below:> Everything you have explained in 20 lines was done in 15min, then he chit chatted with the tenant for 5 mins or so and left.> No report of what was done provided, I asked multiple times> No photos where provided> No paper work was provided> When I called your office and asked what was done on the day they had no idea and were completely clueless.> Not sure what you are tying to achieve by providing line by line details of what your tech did in 15mins.> I called and emailed your office multiple times about this issues and nothing was done. They just kept emailing me to pay the full amount.> Reason of my review here is so others are aware of how you operate and they can make their own judgment as to if they want to still use your services.Also note, this is my last response to your and your office staff, I am a busy person and don't want to spend anymore time on this.

This is a very professional and friendly firm to deal with. The guys who came to install my aircon were professional, prompt and cleaned up after themselves. They too the time to even set the clock on the remote, and put it on the wall!! I am very happy with their work.

This company is a complete joke. It has taken 17 days and 3 telephone calls to your company to give a quote, after being informed the quote would to be delivered in the next 2 to 3 days after the site inspection. If you knew at the time that the workload was too busy then your company reps should have made this very clear, it was not. The only positive to come out of this prolonged saga was I found another company that could supply and install the system for over $400 cheaper and can install it within 10 days.Finally word of mouth and reviews are a powerful weapon, don’t stuff your potential customers around.

In thirty years of dealing with trades across seq. I called upon Ice Blast to diagnose/resolve a sensor/gas issue with our 5 year old ducted Daikin.I was advise a $235 call out fee. A technician arrived with no confirmation or SMS for pre-arrival notice at 7am on a day that wasn't confirmed. (Not frustrating at all)'The tech, throughout this ordeal was very professional and communicated well.'Where this experience fell apart was with the value of services from Ice Blast Air-con.Firstly, they took 1.5 to 2 hours to diagnose a fault. $235 ++ $75 per 30 minute blocks, start the maths and you quickly arrive at $535To resolve the fault. The tech needs 4kg of R410 gas. A local ring around with comparable refrigerant availability is $85 per kg. Ice Blast charges $650 for the same stuff and same amount.You the consumer have the privilege of paying for the tech to drive almost 30-40 minutes each direction to depot to get the gas. Remember their metre is $75.00 per 30 minutes. Ask most similar air-cond elects, they come with the gas. It's on the truck.During this time, I've called 3-reputable competitors whom have all echoed the same sound track! this is right royal rip off and inflations of margins. These competitors or provide fixed quotes between $650 and $700. Their call out fees are removed from the total call out when they do the repair.Meanwhile Iccy is now up $1,800 for the same resolution and repair.Thankfully I arrived home and put a stop to the work continuing when the tech returned with the gas.Still Ice Blast wanted to charge $735 for let's call it 2 hours on site and 1.15 for the driver going to get the gas.I refused. Unfortunately still had to pay $535.00 for this horrible ordeal of a Queensland company absolutely royally taking the piss out of the consumers and the situations!I would highly recommend an ACCC investigation into the conduct and code in which this firm is operating. Nothing formal was presented. No receipt, no job sheet or work completed.80% mark up to 3 of your competitors acceptable?This matter will continue.

Firstly a shout out to Lucy, great customer service and communication throughout provided the confidence in choosing Ice Blast to install our ducted system.Ice Blast were not pushy and provided multiple brand options and zoning systems to choose from with transparent pricing on the quotation.We went with a 16kw Daikin premium system with the iZone smart zone control system to replace old air con units and add air conditioning to additional bedrooms that had none, it exceeded our expectations, with 7 zones we can easily control each rooms temperature for desired comfort levels, had a few technical queries after install and Ice Blast sent someone straight out to check out the system and make a few adjustments. Based on our experience so far I would definitely recommend them for anyone looking to update their home air conditioning system.

I don’t usually take the time to post reviews, but worth the effort for this company.Firstly found ladies in the office extremely helpful, friendly and flexible. Was able to arrange a visit the next day when we were going to be available.The tech (Brad) that came out phoned ahead, as promised, and he very professional and obviously knew what he was doing.He couldn’t fix my AC, but it wasn’t his fault, and we certainly appreciated the thorough investigation the day.He provided feedback on the overall condition of the system, age, gas type (R22) etc, and said worth considering investing in a new system.Repair quote followed the same week, with a second option provided for replacement wall split option (with 6 different brand/unit options – talk about spoilt for choice!).After much consideration and reviewing the options, we proceeded with a Daikin Cora (option 2), with the extra features suiting how we used the room.Once approved, install happened the next week! Apparently unheard of in Summer. But as an existing customer, they treat you with highest priority.I couldn’t be happier with the service received to date with Ice Blast, and look forward to continuing to working with them to service all our air conditioners each year.Highly recommend them for fair, reliable, friendly and professional air conditioning services.
