Fabulous find on a day out. Walked in to hear a brilliant old blues record playing on a proper old school record player which made for a really relaxing browse thru the reasonably priced books. Had a good chat as we paid for the pile of books we purchased and will have to come back for more

I have been meaning to call into this shop for over 12 months. Fabulously cozy hidden gem. Great variety of topics and genre's. I loved the piles of random titles on side tables. Plenty of cozy spots, if you have time to sit and relax. Owner is lovely to chat with and very knowledgeable about his trade.Will definitely be adding this little gem to my list of fave used bookstores.

Our first visit to Green Door Books, or the Book shop down the alleyway as I think of it. Great shop with some hard to find books, great set up, lovely music playing and seats for browsing or sampling the books. A great addition to Lobethal and surrounding towns. Found 3 books to buy, and many others that tempted me. Definitely plan to return here.

Delightful second hand book shop tucked away behind the main street of Lobethal. Good quality used books, lovely quiet nook to sit and browse with excellent taste in background music. Friendly delightful book store owner.
