Banksia Wine Room
Wow these people know what they are doing! We came for early dinner Saturday night and had such an excellent time that we did not want to leave. There are lots of interesting items on the food menu to try and some real highlights. Cauliflower hummus and the waygu pastrami were a couple. Of course there was a great wine selection - this is definitely the place to try something new as the staff know their stuff. The service was attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was perfect - not too loud and a great vibe in the room. This is the perfect place to just chill and enjoy. We are really looking forward to the fireplace on cold peninsula winter nights and will be back many times I am sure.

We live in McRae and was very happy that a wine bar was opening. We had our first experience on Saturday night. Great staff made us feel really welcome and the wine on recommendation was gorgeous (Pooleys Chardonnay) we went for the selection of share dishes) which included the pate, the croquette and the chips, with the wine we were really happy with the taste and qualityWe shall be back and I hope the locals gets behind it as it is so good to have a quality wine bar in the community.

We ate here last night as a group. Grouper croquettes were so good and was the zucchini dish. Wine list was fantastic. Service was so good interior was very stylish and the acoustics were spot on. Great work. Unique and yummy on the peninsula we will be back. Very soon
