Thong Power
I love this kind of thing. A person loses a thong (flip flop), and decides to attach it to a nearby power pole for safe keeping. Later another person does the same thing, and before you know it a trend has begun and hundreds of thongs have been added to the humble power pole to bring colour and vitality to an ordinary Tathra street. This tourist attraction has a range of say 50m - interesting as you walk past near the beach, but not enough to bring you to the town! Tathra's natural beauty will do that anyway.
