Flinders Blowhole

Great spot in summer, lots of rock pools. The big blowhole is a bit further on the left and needs about 5 mins of walking on rocks to get there. Easy walk on a dry day, I wouldn’t attempt it when the rocks are wet. Worth a visit for sure.

There wasn't any blowhole when we went, probably because it was a low tide. However, the view was still spectacular. Only a 5-minute walk from the carpark. Love the rock formations near the blowhole, and there was a rockpool with clear water surrounded by green moss. Definitely worth paying a visit.

Absolutely stunning place. There is a short walk down the stairs from the parking lot. Beautiful vegetation, volcanic rocks, a spectacular beach, and a blowhole. The place is great for watching the waves crashing, but it is extremely rocky. Definitely worth a look.

Absolutely amazing place! This pretty cove has a rocky beach, turquoise water, and plenty of rock pools. I can’t find the blowhole but it’s definitely worth to visit. The path down to the beach is not far but it’s a bit steep and slippery because of the small rocks, just be careful. Otherwise there’s also a lookout from above. Parking is limited.

Love the view and the steps are good. Little ones might need help in some steps but still good.

Having moved to the country it was great to see the sea again on a visit to Melbourne. This is a spectacular place to visit! Key intersection of Boneo rd and Razorback rd into your GPS to find the short dirt road to it. Very small car park but plenty of room on the dirt road in. Great views from the lookout for the less mobile then steps down to the rocky foreshore. Unfortunately it was pretty calm when I visited but you really need to be aware of the swell, the waves can easily take you off the rocks!

Having limited time saw us at the Blowhole as the tide was still coming in so no spouting water was on show, however it did allow us to get down onto the rocks and explore the rock pools.So it's not a hole but a small inlet that the waves funnel into and then spurt up into the air.There are also many inlets, this one is not as pronounced as the others.After you come down the stairs you need to turn left and walk for quite a while.You need to go at high tide.As an amputee I found it quite a challenge to descend and ascend the stairs (114) but it was definitely worth the effort to go close to the Blowhole area. You must visit this place during clear sky ..I suggest checking the tide times if you want to see the Blowhole in its full glory! Check tide times to get the best view of the blowhole. Best be high tide. Easy walk down stairs. Rocks are easy to manageDefinitely recommend a visit.

Really nice place. From the parking lot to the (volcanic rock) Beach is just a short walk. Definitely worth a look.

Beautiful spot to visit and check out the rock pools with kids. Ideally while the tide is out.Afterwards, just up the road is the main street of Flinders with multiple specialty shops, our favourites where the Chocolaterie and General store
