Maple Street Surgery

I have been helping place doctors at Maple Street Surgery for the past 2 years. As a GP recruiter it is important for me to find the right practice for my doctors. I make time to visit the practice so that I know what the culture of the practice is like. I have just placed my second doctor with this amazing team and I know that their team will look after them.Maple Street Surgery is a stand out practice in my eyes and trust me I get to see a lot of practices. I have no hesitation in recommending this practice. 5 stars all the way.

Dr. Peter Stobbs is the best General practioner of health I have ever been seen by. Highly recommend him and the Maple Street Surgery. Always been taken care of in an excellent manner here.

Patients; if you want to avoid rudeness and feeling belittle, Do not call or step into that practice. Not the same anymore and it’s all about money there. Unfortunately.Do not even consider to seek advice through the nurse. If you can’t afford to pay $$$ for your health, they make sure they rub that into you really well so you do not waste their time and money!Go straight to hospital for a cat scratch or bite if I cannot afford to pay $$ for a doctor just to prescribe some antibiotics!What about compassion, caring.Very sad!

Dr Antoinette is a gem. So sweet, caring and thorough. She really listens and provides patient centered care. Receptionist Ali is very helpful, what an asset to their team. I can’t speak highly enough about Nurse Joyce and Nurse Rachel. They always make my family and I feel safe and looked after.

The office ladies are absolutely fantastic. They are welcoming, exceptionally helpful, and efficient. My family sees Dr. Whyatt for our occasional medical issues. It feels like you've bumped into an old friend every time you visit. He too is warm and welcoming. He shows a real interest in his patients and is incredibly knowledgeable and professional.

Went to have a skin check as I was under the impression I would be seeing a skin specialist as per their website 'With decades of experience in skin cancer detection and the latest diagnostic tools, you are in good hands.I specified at the time of the booking that that was my reason for booking an appointment. This practise does not bulk bill anymore . The Reception Desk is extremely inefficient , not reliably calling back when they say they will . Currently , their reminder system for appointments has been broken for nearly 1 year . The Doctors are good .

I want to thank the team at Maple St Surgery from the bottom of my heart! Over the past few weeks both our toddlers had croup. Croup is always a stressful time in our house as we have ended up in emergency multiple times. I know the surgery is always so busy as I have called at 8am to get an appointment and you can’t get through as phone lines are so busy! Anyway both times after explaining how sick our babies were, we were able to get a phone consult and get the medication and advice that we needed. We then had a follow up call from the nurse a few days later (as we weren’t actually able to actually see a Dr). Both times the receptionists, Doctors and Nurses were very helpful, efficient, kind & understanding. Thank you!

Thank you Maple St Surgery for our appt today. I had a sick child and they were the only medical centre in my area that booked us in straight away. The other Cooroy and Pomona centres said they were all were booked out for a week and half. It’s so great to see Maple st surgery actually look after their community. Thank you!

Don’t waste your time seeing Lisha Pollocks. I spent honestly a good quarter of my appointment a while back listening to her whinge and moan about how much better healthcare is in Dubai and how because of her skin colour she is constantly discriminated against in Australia. Go figure. I then got charged for a long consult because I couldn’t actually explain my situation due to her constant anecdotes. She also refused to discuss any treatments because she didn’t believe the healthcare professional I was seeing for multiple years prior to her was “correct”.
