A very nice selection of narrow gauge railway transport, as well as the usual gauge carriages and locomotives. You can actually ride" the red buggy as the rear wheel is lifted off the ground). Especially enjoyable were two simulations of two locomotives

We were warmly welcomed by Fred, who was enthusiastic and informative. There are interactive displays, which are lots of fun for young and old. Stan was very friendly and relaxed in the cafe carriage and Dianne and the team whipped up our steak sandwich, hamburger and Devonshire tea quickly. Food was delicious and generous portions. Three people having lunch with tea and coffee plus dessert for under $40? Incredible! Can’t wait to come back.

I enjoyed this stop. It’s run by welcoming volunteers/enthusiasts and is very quaint. Excellent value home made lunch or scones and cream. The gift shop has some great locally made food and items. I bought the best home knitted woollen socks. Congratulations Port Milang folk!

If you have time, I suggest you have lunch or a snack in the dining carriage. You'll have a very nice but inexpensive meal. The ladies are very welcoming and will look after you well. I had a hamburger with the lot on the freshest bun I've ever had with a hamburger, that's for sure. Highly recommended. The exhibits are well presented, with some being interactive. It's great to see exhibits that aren't covered in cobwebs, like a lot of museums we visited on our trip around. The volunteers do a marvellous job keeping the place shipshape.

This railway Museum is run by a group of lovely volunteers. It’s good to see the old trains and how well they are taken care of. I went during the weekend. So they closed at 4pm on Saturday. When you visit the railway museum, you can also go and visit the jetty near by too. You’ll find some self put-up small shops here during the weekend.

Fantastic little museum run completely by the lovely volunteers at Milang! Must visit if you go past the town as it is beautifully maintained and gives you a lot of insight into the trains that ran between Adelaide city and milang back in the day. The kind gentleman there Mr Peter also took me and my partner for a little ride in one of those old schools carriers! Loved the vibe there and the welcoming nature of the locals. Would definitely recommend

Congratulations to the Milang community. Very interesting railway museum, craft shop, book shop and high Tea in the carriages, a train ride, and it was the opening of Nugget's (horse) trail with plaques with interesting photos and history along the way.
