Amcal+ Pharmacy Balwyn North - Greythorn

All staff from the Pharmacist to the floor staff have always been very friendly and helpful. They offer useful advice and are kind. Definitely my preferred local chemist. They also have a great range of cough syrups (that was the reason for my last visit).

Inconsistent process for the Covid jab. You may or may not be asked for ID certification. Such requirement is not specified in advance. What happen for an aged pensioner without a driver licence?

Past experiences at other pharmacies haven’t been pleasant, so I’m grateful now for Amcal in Greythorn. Once again thank you so much to the amazing team.

The Customer service is of the highest quality . The team at Greythorn Amcal Pharmacy are very much the hub of the local community. Kevin and Nathan providing great medical and pharmacy care. The Pharmacy support team are terrific. The team are great at helping with presents for friends and family members... the gift shop or a beauty treatment has won me lots of brownie points over the years.

Friendly and approachable staff. Always offer useful alternatives such as less expensive generic brand prescriptions. The pharmacist is quite helpful and always gives good advice on prescriptions such as the best way to take them and things to watch for.

This chemist shop in Greythorn is a great example of a community pharmacy. Less impersonal than the discount chains like Chemist Warehouse and Priceline etc. I was in looking for a few specific items after an injury. The friendly staff I spoke to were extremely helpful and knowledgeable, listened to my concerns and offered extremely helpful advice. Although they didn't have what I needed, they were able to suggest a specialist supplier nearby who should have what I need. Well stocked store, brightly lit, with items and prices clearly displayed. I checked quite a few items on their shelves and the prices were either identical or very close to the discount chains. Located on very busy Greythorn Road Shopping Strip, there is a clearly signed entrance at the rear of the store leading to substantial off street parking which is much more convenient and safer than trying to park on Doncaster Road.

Fantastic service!! Stopped into and the customer service was 5 star, was abit lost in what I needed so one of the ladies was happy to help and offer advice for the best product to suit me. Pharmacist also gives great advice. Everyone here is really knowledgeable! Their is also a beautician that works there which ill definitely make use of her services when I need a facial. Very professional, hygienic, organised and helpful
