Place was a little tiny bit run down for a new restaurant but still quite pleasant. They had lunar new year ornaments on which was nice.Service was attentive and polite. Food was good, will try other dishes next time. Did feel like a home cooked meal, which was nice. Had 6 pc dumplings (chicken and prawns), the Shanghai Style fried rice and sesame prawn toast. Happy with the choices. Overall very good, would be better if they had tissue boxes ready in all tables, but this is secondary of course. Will return for sure

Wonderful dumplings but so much more than that! I’ve been here a number of times and it never disappoints. On our most recent visit we had crispy pork dumplings which were very juicy and flavourful, fragrant Hainan chicken rice and mapo tofu which were both excellent, and a refreshing beer.Portion size and price was also amazing - it only cost us $49 for all of the food and one beer.The menu has lots of options for vegetarians and has a good range of Sichuan dishes as well as classic Chinese dishes. The dumplings are handmade in the window so they’re super fresh.Service is friendly, the restaurant is clean and perfectly air conditioned on a hot summer’s day, and the food came out quickly. We’ll be back!

In the past 6 months I've eaten here 3 times and had takeaway twice. I can't understand why this restaurant is always empty. Service is friendly with the staff Cantonese and chefs from Northern China. The dumplings (hence the name) make this place unique in Vic St.Handmade fried dumplings are exceptional (particularly beef) - large, thick skins that are chewy with a crispy well-fried bottom, juicy meat with slight coating of fat that is perfect with black vinegar. Easily some of the best I've ever had.The prawns in salted egg yolk are a bomb of flavour and crispness.Cumin lamb, fried rice are also what I get to balance the meal. Both are good (would prefer lamb to be drier and more spiced, fried rice is quite standard Cantonese).Highly recommended and I'll definitely be back.

I absolutely love Munch Dumpling. Delicious food, good lunch deals. Great vege options. Staff are really nice.My workplace recently moved nearby. I wish Google maps times were updated so we knew when the restaurant was open. Instead we just always go past, before checking other restaurants.Delicious!

Szechuan chili fish is really good, I will come back again for this. Pork and cabbage dumpling and boneless spicy chicken is recommended, the portion and price worth to dine in. I will give 5/5 ratings. I will try other dishes next time I come.

A close favourite my partner and I regularly frequent when we're in the mood for our favourite two dishes. Szechuan fried chicken and cumin lamb.Very solid place and will continue to regularly visit. 4/5 as it misses the mark every now and then. The dumplings are good/great, but not a highlight and could use improvement but solid overall.

Big range of chinese meals, two of us enjoyed several tasty courses in a comfortable setting, hostess was very polite and helpful. Will be going back for sure. Not licensed so remember to byo, ($5 corkage per person though, bit steep)

You cannot miss this newly opened restaurant.Authentic Chinese food and great customer service. We found this place on google map and we are amazed by the delicious dishes. We ordered cumin lamb and shredded pork with bean paste. They are served in big portions and the flavour is just amazing. We’ll definitely come back.
