Quality Pharmacy Mitcham

Decided to try this pharmacy for the first time today. I paid three times the usual amount for my prescription medication, despite it being the house brand. Not greatly stocked and even tampons were overpriced. I will definitely not be coming back.The only saving grace (and the reason for the extra star) was the chemist, who asked what I was looking for.

Very inaccurate health test. I had a health test done here which involves pricking finger and was told I had very high cholesterol and diabetes and need to change my lifestyle. I went straight away to see my GP the very next day who ordered a full blood test at Melbourne Pathology. Results showed I had very low cholesterol and was definitely not diabetic. Their health test is most ridiculously wrong and extremely significantly different from the results from a proper blood test. Don't do the health test with them as you will seriously regret it and get very wrong results.

Terrible pharmacy. I've been coming here for over 4 years and without doubt every single time they fill a perscription, they give you generic brand medicine without asking. I asked on numerous occasions for them to write it in my file, I only want the brand product that my doctor wrote on the original perscription, and time and time again, they don't ask, just give you another brand. They get kick backs for that, but take away the customers CHOICE!! My husband even had to ask for a refund, as he was told they didn't have his blood pressure medication in his usual brand, but miraculously found a box when he wanted a refund to go to another pharmacy. Terrible customer service, high prices, and staff that don't listen to you. They kept my scripts on file, yet repeatedly failed to inform me that they were the last ones, then wouldn't provide me with medication I take daily when I came in to pick up my next pack. Even though I order and pay every single month for the same medication. I'm reporting them. Disgusting.

I wish I can give No Star to the cashier of 1st Sep 2022 at 2pm I wish I know her name and I hope the employer can recognise her with the given shift. She is disrespectful she didn’t do anything wrong to me besides that I couldn’t hear properly due to tonsils infection and that was why I was there when I asked her to repeat the questions she gave me the look of ugliest human. There were other 2 elderly men after me having the same disgrace just because they waited until she was available they were told loud enough I could here “You have to come up to the counter so I can help you otherwise no one will” the tone was disgusting. I am giving 5 or more stars to all of other cashiers and pharmacists as I have been to this place for 5 years they are absolutely kind and helpful.

My generic brand antibiotics always cost 2-3 times more here than at other pharmacies I visit; I only ever get my scripts at this pharmacy if I'm too sick to drive to my preferred pharmacies.(And as someone who works in the pharmacy industry, I know what the wholesale price of these drugs are, and it is FAR less than customers are being charged.)

same medication cost 60 at Quality pharmacy on member price but 48 at chemist warehouse. last visit.

This is my local chemist and I’m very fond of the staff. My medications are all on the PBS and I’m on disability, so price isn’t an issue, it’s a fixed price across all chemists. The only thing is, the wait times can be very long, and since covid they’ve put up all these plastic screens that along with masks means you can’t understand what anyone is saying, and they have trouble seeing that people are waiting because of those darn screens. But for the most part, it’s a friendly and decent chemist.

This is not out of spite: nearly all occasions I have been here, the required stock is not available. Not just one medicine, 2-3 different scripts. Staff are friendly and warm, no problem there. My experience is just the fact that they do not carry enough stock.Pricing is at the higher end. Sudafed generics were roughly $20, other pharmacies they sell branded Sudafed at roughly $13.00

Went today to pick up meds,as I’ve done for years and a fairly new staff member was sooo rude. In shock actually. Mature staff member too.

Fantastic!! I had some excellent customer service, I was just stumped walking around for the perfect skin cream! Then some handsome guy came out and helped me find the best one (QV brand) told about how they are all branded to go together and all this and that. Very knowledgeable, I got my item and continued on my way. this pharmacy is indeed a QUALITY pharmacy!
