Not for vegetarians even if they have a small vegeterian menu. I think the chef hasn’t ever tried the vegetarian dish they are preparing, it was absolutely non-edible. For non vegetarians the plates looked very good!

A great night, staff are so lovely. Mahsa who was serving our table was so lovely. I had the vegetarian/vegan fesenjoon and it was so delicious and fresh. The saffron rice was yum. Thank you for creating such a beautiful experience for us. God bless

Title: Exquisite Food, But Service Quirks: A Review of Farsi Restaurant Top RydeI recently had the pleasure of dining at Farsi Restaurant in Top Ryde, and while the food was exceptional, there were a few service-related quirks that dampened the overall experience.Upon perusing the menu, my dining partner and I were enticed by the promise of a share platter for two. However, to our surprise, we were informed by the waiter that the platter was only available for groups of four, contradicting the menu description. It was disappointing to be told this, as we had eagerly anticipated trying a variety of dishes together.Setting the platter issue aside, the quality of the food at Farsi Restaurant was truly outstanding. Each dish was meticulously prepared, bursting with flavors, and beautifully presented. The chefs showcased their mastery of Persian cuisine, and we thoroughly enjoyed the diverse range of flavors and textures. It is worth noting that Farsi Restaurant is positioned at a slightly higher price point compared to other dining establishments in the area. While the quality of the food justifies the cost, it may be worth considering for special occasions or when looking to indulge in a memorable culinary experience. One aspect that left room for improvement was the availability of drinks at the bar. Despite having an extensive drinks menu, we found that many of the options we requested were unavailable. It would have been preferable to have been informed about this beforehand, as it caused a bit of disappointment and disrupted the flow of the evening.Another quirk that occurred during our dining experience was related to the choice of tea or ice cream for dessert. As paying patrons, we expected the freedom to select our preferences individually. However, we were informed by our server that we all had to choose the same option, despite the fact that we were paying $75 per head. The server's insistence on this matter, coupled with his somewhat firm demeanor, left us feeling a little disheartened. It would have been more accommodating for the restaurant to allow us to exercise our preferences, especially considering the price we were paying for the dining experience.Despite these service-related hiccups, the overall dining experience at Farsi Restaurant Top Ryde was enjoyable. The exceptional food, with its delightful flavors and impeccable presentation, left a lasting impression. However, I would suggest that the restaurant address the inconsistencies between the menu and the actual availability of dishes, improve communication regarding drink options, and reconsider their approach to accommodating individual preferences, particularly for dessert choices. With a bit of fine-tuning in these areas, Farsi Restaurant has the potential to offer an even more memorable dining experience to its patrons.

Visiting from Italy, we went there to have lunch with family.Everything was good apart from my main dish which was Koobideh. Surprisingly it tasted like nothing!!! I kept adding salt and pepper and sumac but no luck!!! I think the meat they use is not the best!!!The staff was friendly and the service was fast! The portions were huge!!!

Great service and beautiful dishes; Yummy; the reservation Is recommended in pick hours, weekends. We went here a few times and my first experience was by an accident when I traveled to Sydney with friends from New Zealand and we just landed and were looking for a place to take a bite near our Airbnb, we walked in and felt so lucky. That memory is so special for all of us as the food was outstanding and exceeded our expectations to the extend we still talk about it to date. I went there a few times after that and my experience was always positive.

Will definitely be back !!What a nice tucked away restaurant in top ryde. I live close by in Eastwood and always come past thinking I need To go there one day and try it . And I'm definitely glad I did !Food was amazing . So much flavour and i almost ate my fingers multiple times I enjoyed it that much . I ordered a masto khiar and a Kase kebab . They also give a complimentary starter of two little cheese circles . I'm not exactly sure what they are but I could just eat them on there own for dinner .Will be coming back for sure . And I will be telling everyone to come to this beautiful little place.Thank you
