Furrytail Cattery

Met our little furry friend, Bagel, around this time last year. Being a first-time pet owner, I have hundreds and thousands of questions since Day 1 and Sophie has always been there for us. We are grateful to have this affectionate, gentle and absolutely beautiful boy become part of our family. Would definitely (and have already) recommend Furrytail.

I find my first cat Lucas (and my dream one) from Furrytail Cattery after researching for a long time. The cattery owner Sophie is absolutely wonderful, patient and professional. The communication process was seamless, Sophie was very transparent about the kittens. As a first time cat owner, I know close to zero about cats in general. Sophie provided all the information needed for raising a little and supported me all the way through.I highly recommends Furrytail Cattery to anyone who is looking for British Shorthair! We adopted a beautiful British shorthair cat from Emily in 2018 and I could not be happier with my decision. From the moment I entered her facility, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism. Emily was friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to answer any questions I had about the breed. She even introduced me to a few of the cats so I could get to know them better. My new kitty was in excellent health and came with all the necessary paperwork. I am amazed at how well-mannered and affectionate she is. She has been a perfect addition to my family. I would highly recommend Emily to anyone looking for a British shorthair cat.

We bought 2 British Shorthair cats, one from each breeder over the last 3 years. Both Sophie and Emily are lovely people who genuinely care about their cats. They always respond to questions in a timely manner and they charge very reasonably compared to other breeders in the country. All their cats have been screened for genetic conditions and are well socialised. Both cats that I received are gorgeous and have good temperaments - suitable for young children. One of them is super smoochie and affectionate and the other is playful and inquisitive. I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting a British Shorthair companion.

A 5-star ethical cattery where the friendly owners genuinely care about their cats’ well-being and offer helpful assistance and advice on choosing the right kittens from their wide range of offerings and the right diets for individual cats.We got our first British shorthair from Emily in 2017 and then added to our family another shorthair baby from Sophie in 2022. Their cats were properly socialized, vaccinated and chipped before we took them home hence it saves us a lot of hassle and worry, and the kitties warmed up to their new home very quickly.Both fur babies are curious, playful, healthy and thriving. If we are looking to add another British shorthair to our family in the future, we will go back to furrytail cattery by default. Highly recommended.

Amazing breeders! We adopted our new British Shorthair, Marval. Furrytail was wonderful from beginning to end especially Emily! Our Award winning kitten is nothing but perfection!! Emily answered all our questions while in the process of adopting our new companion and still to know I can reach her for further questions! I love how caring Furrytail is towards their kittens even when they are at their new home. Highly recommended!!

We had a wonderful experience dealing with Furrytail Cattery. You can tell they genuinely care about their cats which is so important in a breeder. Also, since bringing our little Juno home a week ago, Emily has been so responsive to queries I had and this has been immensely helpful!

Excellent breeder! They breed high quality British Shorthair cats. The kittens have beautiful faces and very good personalities. Also the breeders are very patient and responsible and any questions you ask them before or after you take the kittens home will be answered promptly. Highly recommended.

We adopted Thor from Emily in July 2021 as a 5 year old adult cat. The moment I lay eyes on him I fell in love and so desperately wanted him so I applied online and told Emily more about myself and family. I could not believe my luck when Emily chose our family to becomes Thor’s new fur parents. We were absolutely over the moon. Throughout the process Emily was so friendly, knowledgeable and kind. She came over to our house and helped us settle Thor in. I could see her love for Thor as well and also that she was happy he was coming to a happy & loving home. She answered all my questions. I took Thor for his yearly injections and my vet said Thor is a very healthy cat that has obviously been well cared for. Thor is a huge part of our family, we love him sooo much. He is super friendly and loves to snuggle on the lounge at night with us. He is also very gentle and our 6 year old Son adores him. Everyone who meets him is captivated by his “schmoozing” on them and how friendly he is. More than once he has been referred to as a dog in a cats body. He is active and fun then also a big sleepy cat on his back. I am so thankful to Emily for all her care and guidance.

Sophie is very kind and patient with us along the journey to adopt our beautiful baby. She arrived happy and healthy and we enjoys every minute of her company.
