Painted Earth
We used Rubio Monocoat Plus 2C Pure to coat our old Kauri Pine timber floors as well as our bamboo benchtops. We tested 2 samples from Painted Earth and decided on the pure colour. It has a beautiful amber tone on the timber which would otherwise be quite pale and blonde. We applied it ourselves with a floor buffer and by hand. It was surprisingly easy once you understood the process and the coverage was great. About 3L for the 60sqm of timber floor in our house.The fact that it's zero VOC is also excellent because my pregnant wife was able to help me apply it without worrying about any negative effects.
