My wife & i had a massage today and the whole experience was fantastic. Very friendly welcome, polite staff, relaxing and calm environment. Massages were great, and the therapists seemed very educated on the human anatomy in the way they did specific movements etc. Overall we had an absolutely fantastic experience here and will definitely be back. Professional and friendly staff. We've been going here for a couple of years now, we highly recommend Karen for your massage treatment. Book beforehand as they are normally fully booked so don't have availability for walk ins.Karen is knowledgeable and will make sure you get a proper full body massage. We always feel rejuvenated and relax after our treatment. The place is also clean with available street parking close by. If you have private health insurance, Body Retreat is eligible for you to claim back a portion of the cost depending on your extras cover.

Have used Karen for massage for last 6 years and she is terrific. I live in Richmond where she originally operated, tried others when she left the area but now travel to Carlton every 2 weeks as she is the best of any have tried. Highly recommended for relaxation and deep tissue treatment

I have been going to Karen for over a year now for the best massages I’ve ever gotten and also a clean waxing job. She is kind and friendly, listens to your needs and does exactly as asked. I have enjoyed discussing with her healing methods, religion and philosophy. She is very knowledgeable in her field and makes you feel right at home.

I had bruises after my massage. It was obvious the masseuse was not trained. I believe her name was Karen. There was no routine, just random squeezing and at some points pressing so hard it was excruciating. I don't normally bruise easily but I had bruises the next day. The shop isn't 100% clean either.I would not recommend even if you had a discount eg groupon.One of my worst massage experiences.
