Absolutely gutted. My young fella recently required a new headlight fitted to his 2017 Amarok. For simply supply and install of a single headlight, he was charged a completely astronomical amount of $2463. Vw Ballarat, you should be ashamed of yourself. I will be following this up with the department of fair trading......

Very poor experience with VW Service in Ballarat in relation to a sunroof repair. Will never use them again. Picture is after repair. $2300 for new seals and debris from repairs completed were left in the car.

They do have some great car so if you got any money I'd get it there. Especially if you're after something With volkswagen. Nice people and lots of great choice. But don't forget your wallet cause it's up there.

Highly recommended. Very professional staff who gave me a fantastic deal on tyres and also fixing my cars wheel bearings. Honoured the original quote when the job (through no fault of theirs) took extra time. Even went above and beyond to fix it on a public holiday for me. Car now drives better than it ever has. Really cannot recommend them more highly.

I would put ten stars if I could. I recently left VW Geelong feeling sour at the horrific customer service. I drove straight to VW Ballarat to purchase a tiguan with my partner and was met by lovely Marcus who sat us down and talked about various models, pricing and gave us a tour of the vehicle. He even went above and beyond to get the desired coloured car from the yard just to show us exactly what we were purchasing. After a test drive we were happy to purchase where we met Zoe who sorted out pricing and associated fees. This was a swift process met with excellent customer service. What a lovely experience, I would highly recommend even driving a few hours to purchase from this dealership. Thank you to Marcus, Zoe, Trent and Neil and the whole team here at VW Ballarat, you have restored my faith in car dealerships.

Absolute pleasure to deal with. From Ryan (Finance) to Neil (Sales) everything was perfect. If you had questions they promptly answered. They both took the time to explain everything in detail. Cheers for making the purchase of my new vehicle an enjoyable one!

Poor service and a rude experience from the receptionist. I felt like I had committed a crime by calling to inquire about a service and a head unit instalment for my new Tiguan. I was greeted on the phone rudely and was spoken to as though I wasn’t a valued customer. Not a great way to start my VW journey.

Really disappointed and dissatisfied with the service and responsibility taken by Ballarat Volkswagen.I went to them to fix one electric window, and as part of their diagnostics they opened all windows and sunroof of the car using the key. I was told this can help narrow down the cause of the issue.After some discussion, an appointment was booked to get the window looked at. It wasn’t until later that evening that I noticed the sunroof was still up. To close it, I first read the car guide and then attempted to follow the instructions using the key (a long hold of the lock button). As this didn’t work, I went back to Ballarat Volkswagen the next day.I explained the situation to a different staff member, who then drove the car into the workshop to take a look. After about 15 minutes the staff member came back to me and said they couldn’t get the sunroof down. Without any explanation of causes and/or solutions, I was told simply to cover the opening until the appointment.Not happy with the fact that Ballarat Volkswagen couldn’t fix the issue they had created, I decided to take my business elsewhere and called to cancel my appointment with them.I was connected with the same staff member who performed the initial diagnostics. I explained the situation, and while showing empathy, they adamantly reiterated how they had closed the sunroof during the original test of the electronics. I politely disagreed. I had another person in the car at the time to verify that fact. In any case, if to believe this false version of events, the likelihood of the sunroof working for the staff member one day then not for me the next is fairly unbelievable. We all make mistakes, but it was disappointing that the staff member couldn’t accept this as a possibility or take ownership of the problem caused.I went to Ballarat Volkswagen with one problem and came out with two. I understand the issue pertaining to the closing of the sunroof would’ve been there no matter what, whether found by Ballarat Volkswagen or someone else, but I’m frustrated by the lack of accountability, information or willingness to promptly fix a problem of their doing.Now, due to an issue not of my making, I am significantly out of pocket and must take my business elsewhere.A poor effort.P.S. I am happy to communicate further with Ballarat Volkswagen if they believe that they might be able to better handle this issue.

We were in the market for a new VW and from our 1st visit to Ballarat Volkswagen to actually picking up our new car was a highly satisfying experience. If your looking to purchase a Volkswagen you can’t go past dealing with Marcus Bolitho at Ballarat Volkswagen. Marcus knows everything there is to know about the cars he sells. He is absolutely fantastic to deal with, never were we subject to any pressure tactics, just practical knowledge and advice regarding the various models and accessory options and a very fair price from the beginning. Marcus also went above and beyond with a couple of our requests and was true to his word about delivery time frames (actually the car arrived early). I might also add Ballarat Volkswagen wasn’t the first VW dealership we visited and the others weren’t in the same league in terms of honesty, transparency and customer service. 10/10 Ballarat Volkswagen.
